This new layout is doing weird things to photos posted within threads. If they are over a certain width they are getting cut off on the right side. Thus my beloved The Rolling Stones Photo Thread and the wonderful and informative ratbag boogie threads for example have been butchered.

Sorry, but I don't like it. A few weeks ago, I saw that the "All Sold Out" page looked like this, but thought I was hallucinating. The clarity of the font/type is a whole lot better - but not the layout.

For what its worth after 19,000 posts..... I miss the old style.
But everrthing must change I reckon.

I'm not quite sure, if it's just a matter of adapting to the "new look", but I can second Erik's remark about the readability of the old one. I really like(d) it, even if others might consider it unfashionable. It did fit like glove.

Call me old fashioned,I mean I appreciate BV's efforts. But I liked the old layout as well.

The Venues picture thread isn't looking too good, either (though of course it may be feeling real well!)

Here's my 50 cents ;-)

The old version looked very simple with its absence of icons. Compared to that, the new version looks somewhat standardised/average. I like the larger font, but the green doesn't fit to the topic of the Rolling Stones. The dark green kind of like somebody dropped a beer commercial over the board. Let's get back to the previous colour scheme.

Actually I think it's not bad....like the colours.
Let's wait a few days and we all are used to it and don't want the old one back.

In anyway, I like the new fresh design. But to improve it, we need a overview....

Jury is still out; too soon to make judgement, with one exception; some sentences have a white-out line or double white-out line through the words. Adjusting my text/font size has not made any difference with this li'l problem.

I don't mind the font but I wish the "boxes" were larger. Seems like a lot of wasted space on the sides and makes our posts look like webpage ads or something. I've never been big on green, either.

I could get used to the new look, I suppose...
(Thinking back... I couldn't understand the sound of SFTD on BB the first time I heard it, so long ago... I love it now.)

Think I prefer the old stlye but if it's being changed I'll have to get used to it.

I have to add my vote for the old style. The ease of reading the old board is the main reason I'm here. I just can't bring myself physically to read Rocks Off, Shidoobie, let alone Keno's. This new design takes steps in their direction (as actually did the old board's recent revision, slightly), mainly in the way of too much wasted space. The texts of the posts are getting overwhelmed by all the unnecessary information. This format highlights the bells and whistles at the expense of what's been written.

But farm people dont like changes
