Tracks 21-29 are taken from "Delights From The Freezer" (Freezer’s choice #1). They are coming from tapes transfered - and sometimes recorded - by Freezer. All are from low generation tape (1st gen i believe). The sound of Baton Rouge '75 is especially amazing and is much better than other versions (IMP, VGP or the low gen tape seeded by Silkcut a times ago)

The bonus tracks on this VGP release are taken from "mr. Freezer's sampler"
He was furious about the way VGP EQ'd it.....so he did say
He haven't shared his recording of Jacksonville 1975 yet.....and most probably he won't ever do it - same goes for the other bonus tracks on this VGP - so no, the other source is not available

Very true, Erik. No fighting about the man from me, though- Freezer is actually a good guy, once you understand where HE'S coming from. It's amazing how many people are unwilling to do that, though. I'll defend the man to the death. He's probably one of the last great tapers from the 'classic' era still active in the scene- sure, he's got a lot of stuff we'll never hear, but, Jesus, enough of his stuff is out there already! Most of it NOT by his choice, by the way (people tend to forget that.) I probably have more "Freezer" recordings in my collection than any other taper, including Millard (and I prefer Freezer's sound). I think a lot of what he says about 'greedy' collectors is true- look at guys like Ralf Linden, for example.

(Now cue fourty posts about how Freezer's a bad guy, basically manifesting everything he's said over the years...)

The samples of his work on these discs sound fantastic, of course, but even the 'unknown gen' boots of his stuff are good enough for THIS collector, anyway!

I understand the point but I wonder once again why we don't join together, make an offer and buy some stuff from him sharing the costs.
Think also to the recent video of Paris 1976 June 5th. It's there and we have only to buy it, of course not at the price of 800 bucks he pretends.

To be honest, I must say that recently organized a common purchase with the help of some collectors here on iorr and we grabbed a hidden gem (if interested to know more pls. contact me at my e-mail address).

Many thanks Jos and all others involved. I was in The Hague at that show, so it's nice to have it if only for sentimental reasons.
