Thanks for posting this edmund. I have wanted to hear this one for ages ever since I read somewhere that Mick seemed to be more ready for the after show party than the show itself.

I haven't listened to it all the way through yet but did notice that the first bit of YCAGWYW was missing. I edited in the beginning from the Jacksonville show (2.8.75) - thanks to the original poster - for my copy and thought I would share it with anyone who would prefer a 'complete' version of the song.

I was at this show...and Mick came on *wasted*. Slurring words...forgetting them. He seemed to get better as the show went on, and it got dark, but oh man. He was pretty rough to start.

I live near the stadium that this show was played at. Apparently the Stones spent the day at a small restaurant near the stadium, taking the place over with their entourage, and partying the day away till near showtime, avoiding the massive crowd in and around the stadium - a lot of people hung outside, just to hear the show.

The restaurant was called the Seven Corners Inn (it closed 2 years ago). They had a picture of Mick and the boys in the bar.

I was 15 at the time and going to the show was not an option. The openers were the Outlaws and Bobby Womack. Apparently there was a huge delay between Bobby Womack and the Stones as they waited for it to get closer to dark. My older brother was at the show, and said how he was ready to put in earplugs while waiting for the Stones, as the sound system kept playing the soundtrack to 'The Wiz' over and over.

It sounded like Mick, and the rest of the band, were wasted, but pulled it together.

In 1975 Buffalo got two shows, now we can't get one!

Thank you Edmund. I was also at this show. It's really nice to have this as a memory.

I was in the same boat for this one as well. My brother went but my mom wouldn't let me go. Of course the Stones had a very bad reputation back then. Lots of arrests outside. Interesting I didn't know that they hung out at 7 corners that day. I remember reading that they liked playing here and hanging out.

Bob, I always thought Mick was on heroin for this show. He sounded so out of it.
