Where can one find the 14 December 55 minute tape that is circulating?

Are all these shows sourced from flacs to 320Kbs by any chance?

A fantastic post Bootlegman for the 1969 collectors. Many thanks to you and all who contributed to it.

---Where can one find the 14 December 55 minute tape that is circulating?---

I was making bootlegs trades during several years and with many different traders in all the world; one of them had this recording, but he never wanted to trade for it. Also he had some other very rare stuff (for example Manchester 11/09/73, Toronto 18/06/75, Glasgow 11/05/76, Munich 17/06/76 and others). I could only trade for one of his shows because I had only one for his interest. I think it´s each impossible to get it.

The Sicilian, my velocity speed is slow and I can only upload songs one by one and in mp3, I´m sorry. I have over 3500 bootlegs at home; from them, mostly are original discs or first or second generation (this is, all except the bootlegs downloaded from IORR). For trading, like I said before, I only need a maximum of 10-15 very rare boots, and my trades are only dvds x dvds now.

Quite an interesting posting Bootlegman - I did trades for about 20 years but I never NEVER knew somebody having the tapes you mentioned in brackets.

I wonder if I'll live long enough to see them coming up one day...

What about a list of "known" recordings which seems to be more or less confirmed?

For a start (everybody, please feel free to complete):

1967-04-05 Bologna (1st or 2nd show, rumoured for a long time)
1969-12-14 London
1973-09-11 Manchester (Bootlegman)
1975-06-03 San Antonio (Freezer says he taped)
1975-06-04 San Antonio (again Freezer)
1975-06-18 Toronto (Bootlegman)
1976-05-11 Glasgow (Bootlegman)
1976-06-17 Munich (Bootlegman)
1977-03-04 El Mocambo ("circulating", at least 2 collectors are having it)
1977-03-05 El Mocambo ("circulating", at least 2 collectors are having it)
1982-05-26 Aberdeen (again rumoured)

that London '69 "55 mins" is crap....doesn't exist.

The mentioned recordings that I said before exist (but only a few collectors have them, and it´s very difficult to get anything from them, because they have each all recordings); from Munich 17/06/76 I think it´s easier to get it; the title of the bootleg circulating is "Stoned" . Plus exist sure these other shows: One song from Minneapolis 29/11/89 (Start Me Up), Barcelona 13/06/90 (audience recording; you know some songs are from the Spanish TV broadcast), Indianapolis 10/08/94 (complete show, "Indianapolis 94"), Buenos Aires 11/02/95 ("No future part"), Zaragoza 29/09/03 (I met a man who has it, but he knows that he´s recording must be the one existing, and he wants to make money with it in a future; I´m thinking seriously to go to his house with a gun, kill him and take his tape, he he). Also I saw an artwork from a "possible" bootleg from Bombay 07/04/03, but I don´t know if really exists.
About San Antonio 03 and 04/06/75 and El Mocambo recordings, I don´t know anything about it. And about Aberdeen 26/05/82, I have got this bootleg (1cd).

-London, 14/12/69 (2 shows) - 3 songs known and posted. A 55 minutes tape is circulating.

I'd be more than happy to get a copy of this, too...

The CDR of Aberdeen 82 consists of Jumpin Jack Flash and....was it Start Me Up - incomplete - about 4 minutes all together.
If you have more than this - then please let us know

Thanks for your words. Well, according to Nico Zentgraf database (www.nzentgraf.de), there wasn´t any show on that day; but after reading your message, I went to my Library (I promise you there are a lot of Stones books and documents there), and looking the Bill Wyman´s book "Stone Alone", he mentioned that show in L.A., and we must think that his notes must be correct.
Obviously, never heard about a recording there, but I´m going to mark it like "unknown recording". Thank you.

Don't know where I read this a while ago but the show on November 20 NEVER took place because of... I can't remember...sorry. I'll try to find the source for it.

I even saw a concert poster for sale a while ago (maybe 1 or 2 years) for the Phoenix show(s) - yes correct, 2 gigs were planned but again - the afternoon show didn't take place.

But one thing seems to be confirmed - there were 2 shows in Chicago on Nov.16 - we probably have the 2nd show.

Is the 11/20/69 "show" not simply the taping of the Ed Sullivan appearance?

I know that Sullivan flew to L.A. to do the intro./interview segments while the Stones used a soundstage there and pre-recorded their appearance to backing tracks.

Just not sure of the date.

Still now, I always thought that show never existed; but like I said before, Bill Wyman perhaps has not a perfect documentation, but I must think he has a correct documentation, and I have to think he had not mistakes about these details on his books.
At the same way, also according to Bill´s books, in Chicago there was only one show on Nov 16th (same info as Nico Zentgraf)

I grew up in Chicago and although I was not able to attend the Stones 69 performance at the International Ampitheater, I seem to remember that a second (afternoon) show was added after the evening show on the 16th November had sold out.

I have noticed that many authors apparently use official tour press releases for their list of shows, which is not the most accurate way to do it. Additional shows are added long after these press releases are out of date. The same goes for 'official tour' posters, which are printed in advance of the tour's start and, consequently, omit listing any additional shows.
