Mick Taylor was playing at that concert, but if this concert is the soundboard recording you can't hear at MT beacuse his guitar was not mixing with all the band!

Mala suerte para todos nosotros, igual como él se fué para mi es pasado como Bill, lo que importa es el presente, al menos eso es lo que yo creo!

thank you rocks off...!

mick taylor sat in on the 2nd show the 15th not the 14th...!

so maybe it is the 14th with no m t..!

i have had the cassette tape of this for years...with m t...

so let me compare them...

i had the pleasure of being in kemper arena that night to witness m taylor sitting in at this show...as well as the first night...

i have some photos of the show somewhere around here...i will have to dig them out too...

the story of mick taylor being there is...

he was of course playing in john mayall's bluesbreakers at that time...

they were scheduled to play the grand emporium blues bar down at 38th and main streets there in kansas city...on the 15th...

however the next night was an open night for the bar and i guess for the bluesbreakers so they postponed their show til the 16th so mick taylor could catch the stones show and/or possibly sit it...

well lo and behold i was blown away...well sort of...it was very much expected when taylor appears from behind the amps with his guitar on...

yeah...!

hell yeah...!!!

i'm listening to my cassette tape of the m t taylor show the 15th...

mine is a very good audience recording...maybe a split second slow...

with jagger introducing taylor as "special guest tonight..." before let me go...

and during the band introductions jagger: "on guitar mick taylor..."

unmistakenly m t on "ycagwyw..." !!!!

a little over 25 years later i remember this night quite well...

@#$%& yeah this sounds good...!

you are correct rocks off...!!!

my apologies i was wrong...!

yes m t played only one night on the 14th...not the 15th...

i pulled out my photos and my newspaper clippings from that time...

the story holds true about taylor though...just move it up a day...taylor and the bluesbreakers were scheduled for the 14th...was pushed back til the 15th so mick could catch at least one night with the boys...

anyways thanks for the sbd of the 14th...sounds incredible...!

it is an upgrade of my audience recording...

As far as I know, Taylor played with the Stones on the 14th.....the 1st Kansas City show........not during the 2nd show which took place on the 15th. I have both shows in soundboard quality.......I've read that Taylor wasn't mixed into the board during the show that he played with them but I still think I can hear a third guitar faintly at times.....It seems fairly obvious to me that they didn't work out who was going to play what because it sounds like everybody's playing at the same time.......basically, the mix is not very good and the Stones have said in subsequent interviews that the sound was horrible that night.

yes this correct...mick taylor one show and one show only on the 14th...!!!

that is why the audience recording isn't the best but taylor is decipherable on the audience tape but not the soundboard mix...

the sound was pretty good in the crowd...the arena that night and on this soundboard copy but apparently the boys differ with the quality of the stage monitor mix on the 14th...!

ok, thanx for the info, but actually TOGETHER AT LAST belongs to 15/12/81 and Jagger introduced Mick Taylor, maybe a mistake in the date,

in fact, i realize that some songs are the same -let me go, for example- in both recordings-MTaylor introduction indeed-, but Going to a go-gos are diffrent....i hate that kind of things...

your "together at last" is misdated...

who ever labeled it 12-15-81 is wrong...!

again...taylor one show...and one show only...!

on the 14th...!

there is quite a bit confusion on this date and shows...

i might know why...

i will had more confusion now...

originally there was only going to be one show for december 15th in kansas city...

with the 14th being the open date for travel out of arizona...

the powers that be decided to add a second show in which they scheduled it for the 14th...

why is a good question...?

the boys were off until the satellite show in hampton virginia on keefs birthday night the 18th...

instead of going with the 16th...they opted for the 14th...so in return the second show became the first show...

follow...?

maybe they were still accomodating taylor and/or trying to work around taylor's shows as well as best they could...!

still...taylor sat in on monday nights show only of the 14th...!!!
