...best way is to find out for yourself if you like it or not:
DOWNLOAD: Shine A Light mp3Basicly I added a little more bass and adjusted volume, balance, middle and high (equalisation) and I cutted out some audience
to have a more pleasant listning. For me the improvement is that I like the sound better this way.
But I totaly understand if you like the 'originals' better...I just offer a 'choise'...I'm like a new restaurant in your neighborhood...
The idea is to 'upload' a whole package from which someone with a decent PC (or MAC) and printer* can create a nice 'collectable' CD
to put on the shelve or display...and the disc in the CD-player...
As a service I offer fulltrack mp3's for iPod or mp3 player...
I know that some people like these 'remasters' a lot...and I'm doing it for them...other people probably like 'other' dymanics...who am I to argue...?
I'm not gonna 'force' it on anyone...or advertise that it's an improvement...It's a matter of taste and everyone has a different taste...naturally...!
Actually I'm not 100% sure about FLAC because I respect the fair 'lossless' comunity on dime and other assorted torrent sites
and I wanna keep this seperated from those torrent sites...It will 'look' lossless but it's NOT...(because it's remastered...simple).
On the other hand mp3's don't serve in the purpose of 're-creating' nice collectable 'GAP-LESS' CD's...I'm OK with wma for that matter
but I know there are other people who can't handle wma's (although I had no complaints on my wma uploads so far on iorr...)
however...FLAC works on PC and MAC...so...
I'm sorry for everyone with a slow connection or everyone who can't d/l with gigasize. I'm not gonna upload on yousendit or savefile
and I'm not gonna cut my remasters into seperate mp3's...
Hope this is an answer to your fair question...it's almost a mission statement...but it should be fun and not taken too seriously...
* it's like totally awesum to buy a printer which can print CD's (I've seen them for $100,- in the US and €100,- in Europe)
and burn on those printable cd-r's with the jpg's I designed for that purpose...
