POST: 1973-09-28 (2) Munich, Germany (Rubycat remaster flacs)

...so I decided to share with you what I've been doing...besides collecting
Rolling Stones shows...I 'remaster' the recordings to my own liking.
Equalisation, compresion, volume adjustment and editing (not necessarely all
for one remaster!)...sometimes even speed correction...pitch control!

Anyway...I thought this one came out very nice...I took the liberty of renaming
the boot and so I designed new artwork for it as well

Clammy And Wet

Olympiahalle, Munich, Germany
Sept. 28th, 1973 (2nd show)

Rubycat remaster, flac files on mega-upload (1 d/l at a time)

part 1 (side A)
part 2 (side cool smiley
artwork

Brown Sugar
Gimmie Shelter
Happy
Tumbling Dice
@#$%&
Dancing With Mr.D
Angie
You Can't Always Get What You Want
Midnight Rambler
Honky Tonk Women
All Down The Line
Rip This Joint
Jumping Jack Flash
Street Fighting Man

NOTE: my copy of this show on cd-r was running to slow so I corrected the speed...
(I used an electronic tuning device)...I also added more bass and did some equalising
on the mid and high. I adjusted the volume as well...
I like the show very much and it sounds like a new one...a very good audience recording
for sure!

Hope anyone will appriciate this remaster

...enjoy ;D

What did you use to correct the speed? Was it a (free) software program?

The reason I ask is that I have a recording from Madison Square Garden 1975 that plays too fast and I would like to correct it.

Valeswood, If you post me one song from that show I'll tell you exactly what to do.

I used the 'pitch' control from GoldWave and and an electronic tuning device to make sure I had the right key (that tuning device was held in front of the speaker...LOL!)

I play along with the songs if I need to do any speed corrections. I use cooleditpro2 to do any adjustments.

I've always found mega to be really slow, part 2 is going to take me 4 1/2 hours to d/l. I'll try later. Part 1 has a 'd/l limit exceeded. whatever that means

...you can only d/l 1 file at the time...and as far as the speed is concerned...I'm not sure but I'm not registered either and I can usealy d/l with 100-150 kb/s...maybe it has todo with location and/or time of day...

Nope - I'm stumped with this one - are there any other good sound quality concerts from 1973 which have songs from Goats Head Soup on?

I may have misunderstood your question. If you haven't gotten them, there are great soundboard/broadcast versions of '73 concerts at Brussels and Wembley. Also, some soundboard tracks from Newcastle and Rotterdam. There are also some decent audience recordings...All contain a few songs from Goats Head Soup.
