LOL -- Erik, there's two things, no THREE things to tell you:
1) I paid $16 for a ticket in the upper level, stage right. The place was packed.
2) From 1975-1997, I usually had my OWN gigs to play.
3) I'm now properly hearing this gig for the first time. Rupp Arena was designed for basketball games, not rock concerts.

After hearing some of this, I'm very impressed. The band put on a good show for us yokels from Kentucky, West Virginia, Ohio and elsewhere. I was just overwhelmed by the atmosphere and now, 25 years later, I can appreciate it much more. I remember that Mick was giving it all to us, which was pleasing. No going through the motions -- he was ever the consummate professional and showman. A wonderful nostalgia trip, and a damn fine performance.

To finally answer your question, I was in a number of bar bands, did some traveling over the southern & midwest US, played a few outdoor festivals, opened up for a few recording artists (including Starbuck, Delbert McClinton,Sheena Easton,Tommy Page,Little River Band). No released records, unfortunately, but some demos/videos exist. Some of the band names were things like The Reactions, Dragonwyck,Area 39,The Stand,Shogun,Spyce etc. Minor-league stuff.
