this june 5 tape is the only one I definetly know of being in circulation beside the well known stuff. and the friend of mine, who discovered this tape, was trying
hard to get the rest of the show (from russian sources), but without any luck (yet).
In my worst nightmares & this includes economy class dreams, pls pls tell me there's nothing worse than that DVD!

My hypothesis is the Paris footage would require a considerable amount of work (such as editing or picking the best perf from each of the 4 nights) while L.A. was more or less ready to go as is.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the show from the 6th (which circulates in complete form) was released officially.
They could of course really blow our minds and release a box set with all 4 complete shows, but I can't see that happening to be honest.
Yep. That's exactly the kind of thing that many of us wants, but Jagger/The Stones never does.

Despite the (imo) rather sloppy playing, a new editing and a DVD of the raw material would be nice.
Iirc someone here mentioned once that Freddy Hausser had given his all Stones archives to Mick so...

Watched it last night, it's very good! Yes, a one cam shot, sound is good mono better in some places than others; it's a great find; another show from '76! Very watchable!

haha! Heiloobaas, I thought it was quite watchable; it's a one camera shoot, yes, but it's better than not having it methinks!
Along with the Pro Shots (I ordered the 'Black and Blue in Paris' version of the shows yesterday, an upgrade to what I had already), this June 5th is great to have.

All the Paris videos I've seen have had better performances than the LA '75 dvd.
IMHO, they might as well have released Aux Abattoirs instead of LA Blues officially, but I'm hoping to some day have both in official excellent quality.
