I use Western Digital 3Tb's. Unfortunately, they do have problems sometimes when used with my wife's PC. I have Windows 7 / 64 bit installed on mine and have no problems. She has Windows 7 / 32 bit and, after looking around, it seems a common problem with WD HDDrives larger than 2Tb....
