[we.tl]

Thanks to the original uploader JTT at HC.
Please don' t forget that this is a complete LOSSY soundboard.

Lossy, but even higher then 320K...so only hoot owls will give a hoot...

You' re totally right. But if this link would maybe used on another site the guys there should know that this is no lossless recording.

I bow to your meticulous ways...thanks for all your help

smileys with beer First I had to google what 'meticulous' confused smiley means. Pretty sure you mean the positive meaning drinking smiley

Sorry, don't blame me, this is Not my World here, but: can the sources be used by iTunes?

I know nothing about this Apple thing but as these are flac files you should convert them maybe to a file that can be used by iTunes. I don' t know what iTunes is using but I think they can do Apple lossless. They will show with the ending .m4a

Thanks! I'll try! I think they will end up as mp3 .....

You can convert them to wav or apple lossless alac (m4a) to preserve quality.

I found the file. Now what? How do you play it?

OK. Make a folder on your Hard drive somewhere.
Name it (for example) 'my Rolling Stones concerts'.
When you've done that, open it (double click) and make another one inside it called Glastonbury 2013.
When you've done that use the 'move' function and move the file you just D/led (do a single click on it and a small menu will open up with options like 'delete', 'rename', 'move' etc'to the Glastonbury folder. Use the move option.......
You'll then need to extract the files that are in the one you've just D/led.
To do this you'll need an extractor program...ie. Winrar or Tugzip or 7zip, do you have one of those programs installed?

Let me know how much of the above you have sorted out or not and we'll go from there...........

ok downloaded WinRAR, extracted files, now I can't open it anywhere

what's next?

OK, you should have a folder that says 'Glastonbury 29.6.2013 (COMPLETE SOUNDBOARD) and inside that two folders 'DISC 1 and DISC 2. Have a look in each of those, (double click) you should have 13 Flac files in Disc 1 and 9 in disc 2. Those are your music files.

You should also have a white ffp file in each disc as well & also an MD5 file. (I just delete those.) There's also a text document, if you double click that you can read about the detail of the recording and what tracks etc....Just an info doc really. I usually delete those too when I've read them.

Let me know if you've got all that...........If you have you can now delete the file you d/led.

And Yes! "We are heaven bound!" smoking smiley

Thanks, now imported in the archive!

I don't understand why the video was banned on Dime? It wasn't there before that, right? If someone has it an upload to Mega would be much appreciated.

OK no problem, ok, I'm guessing you've got a CD and/or DVD burner on your computer tower/stack/, you should have. Also, do you have a burning program such as NERO installed?

You need software to convert the *.flac files to *.wav

Try google (dBpoweramp)

Then you can import the wav files to itunes

I can burn a CD, when I try to do that, it wants to either burn one track, or all files waiting to be burned, which includes other shows as well

Hmmm, you've got me there, do you have NERO? that's the one I'm familiar with.......

If you've got an option of all files 'waiting', presumably at some time you've built a queue somehow....maybe?

We haven't got that far yet, the other thing is if he's got NERO, no need to convert, just d/l a Flac plugin from bitburners, I just burn my Flacs straight to disc.....see anyway, what burning program he's got........
Ahh sorry, I missed what you'd written about itunes........

Yes, not sure how to do that. I did burn disc one to disc, but came out as silent 1 track. Frustrating. Will keep trying.

If you say which burning program you've got I or someone else should be able to keep things going.....If you're not sure look in your list of programs......
You know the disc you've 'burnt', how did you start the program to do that (albeit unsuccessfully)......
