thumbs up

Thx! I had the old mid-90's "Mixed Emotions" release of the L.A.'89 (which I resold since I really didn't like that show) but I'll give it a try!

I had the time to listen to the LA concert and it's missing something. First of all, it's a soundboard, and I think that it's directly from the mixing desk; almost no public noise, so it sounds sterile.
But being so sterile, it gives you a good opportunity to listen closely to all band member's contribution.
Didn't have the time to listen to the Atlantic City concert, but I guess it will be more or less the same as the Swinging Pig release. (maybe lowerr generation, I don't know (yet)

Nine19teen is just as good as the VGP release but VGP has all the extras [CD single songs]. The TSP version is a bit warmer than the others, but they are clearly all from the same source and generation.

The Crystal Cat version sounds a lot like the warmer TSP as well.

Thank you, Chris. Replaces my former mp3-version nicely.
