Value of mistaken pressing - for collectors

First: I am not a collector of many physical objects. My wife saves everything, I save little.
Second: This is not for my property, but a friend who asked me the question and who thinks he has something of some value (and I do not think it's worth more than $10 US).
Here goes: Back in 78 we all ran out and bought Some Girls the second it came out. I came home unwrapped mine, threw in on the turntable and was knocked out by it. My best friend threw his on his turntable and instead of the Some Girls album (as both the packaging and label on the vinyl stated), he got a long disco version of Miss You on both sides of the vinyl. Nothing else.
Some Girls sleeve and labels on the vinyl....but not Some Girls, just Miss You.
Is it worth anything? I say no. Any collectors have an opinion?

I'm not a vinyl collector but my guess is that your friend is right! There are for sure collectors who will pay more than 10 American dollars for it!
I think you should give more details of the tracks, duration, etc. Are the versions on both sides the same or different? Any extra info will help you here.
We got a lot of good and long time vinyl collectors on this great board! Someone will come soon...
