Thanks for the info! I'm really keen on Sam's remastering but even your version is great and better than the original one!

I'll give the uploads a listen. I love the setlist on 2005.06.11. Thanks for the post.Quote

I would have to say the reverb, which helps overall, does make the show sound as if it were performed/recorded indoors. Maybe pull it back a bit?

Thanks! This is the type of feedback I look for (rather than "it sounds good...better..., etc.) I get carried away sometimes with effects like reverb and because I turn these remasters out so quickly, I don't always hear the flaws. Thanks for pointed this one out, as I'm editing the Hollywood Bowl -- another outdoor venue -- right now and will keep the reverb in check.

I've always been curious what is going on, sonically, on this Perth tape at certain points. It seems at times the levels "pan" back and forth from left/right at several points (e.g. :17 and :23 during Brown Sugar and, of course 5:44 of Midnight Rambler though I suspect that may have been intentional). Tape flaw? Correctable? (if so, I am sure with tremendous/tedious effort). Just curious as to an explanation more than anything. Certainly not a criticism.
