Edmonton-97 should be next after this,as it is ex show and a very long one.
This show's gonna take some work. It has different sources within VGP-206 "Canada Dry". There's a mix that sounds like it's from the stage monitor -- "Satisfaction" or "IORR" for example -- then there's an over-loaded compressed mix that sounds like a broadcast -- for example "Let's Spend The Night... -- then there's a muffled mix that sounds like a slightly warped tape -- "Gimme Shelter". Plus the sources and/or sound quality changes in the middle of a song (listen to "Rock And A Hard Place".
I'm putting this one on the back-burner. This shit's supposed to be fun & this show seems more like a pain in the ass. It's never going to sound even, although there's room for improvement.

...it possible that all the extra noise underneath all comes from tape and because VGP has done their own equalizing back then

It is "Canada Dry". All the posts here are sourced from existing releases. I usually put the release in parenthesis (VGP, Dandelion, etc), sorry for the confusion. If you're looking for original sources, check Marko's posts. What I'm trying to do -- and what I've been able to do with some other shows -- is apply digital sound processing using mastering software (i.e. Izotope, Sound Solution, Goldwave, etc.) to get a better sound. Some of these bootlegs we share here were mastered years ago, using methods that have since been supplanted by newer and better ones. Some of them were released without enough mastering, some with too much, whatever the case, there's often room for improvement.
You're right, "Canada Dry" isn't that bad. it is after all, a SBD. But I think it can sound better.

I hear you. If time is in demand for you, I recommend staying away from Edmonton. Use your time on other shows. I'm pretty close to finishing my version of it.
Enjoy your weekend.

Thanks Laughingsam! Your Pittsburg work is nothing short of sensational! What other shows do have in the pipeline?
