This is one super performance, thanks a lot.

Is this really one of the best Stones performances of all? It rides high on their reformation after the MJ/KR impasse, so it has added meaning. But on top of that, the whole lot of them appeared to be in great form, and the quality of the production, including the lighting, was right up there. Opinion indicates this is widely considered to be one of the best, so who dares to say there was any better performance, and where/when?

The VH1 broadcast has. It's a whole different pro mix. I'd bet the Terrifying FOX 3D special has a great mix too. Listen on Sad, Sad, Sad for Bobby's first note of the sax. On the AC 89 it's mixed so low (if it's heard at all) that's how you can tell which mix it is.
