Here's what ChrisM has to say about this release. It's not on his DAC page, but found on his NYC 72 page instead.

Comment: See above comments from "Comeback To England" for CD 1. CD 2 a.k.a "Welcome To New York" is NOT made from old TSP recordings. It's a fine sounding remaster the way it should have been done since the dawning of the CD age. Change you can believe in!

Thanks a lot !
Maybe the best audience tape of Europe 73 ...and the best remaster for NYC birthday show !

so is CD1 taken from vinyl or from watchit's torrent ? and is cd2 taken from some
master tape, before TSP nonoised it ?

Hey Falo, CD1 is taken from the Devils Breath release (which Watchit later posted a speed-corrected version of....it's not "watchit's recording" per see....it was actually "Silver Dagger" who made the recording; he's a poster on IORR).
However, DAC reduced the sound into mono, instead of stereo as on Devils Breath. Also...their EQing was NOT for the better, allthough it's not a disaster

CD2 is a straight copy of watchit's torrent (which UrbanSteel also posted here on IORR....it's on page 1 right now I believe)
