No disrespect to Urban's great upload but someone earlier was asking if better versions of some of these tracks existed. Here's something I downloaded from a torrent a while back which was remastered and I think is a great improvement on the original.

Here are the remasterer's notes:

I tried to improve the original vinyl album as good as possible - but it's still far from being perfect.
First of all I swapped the LP sides since I think it should start with "Undercover" and end with "It Must Be Hell" just like the original Undercover album. In this order you hear also that the sound begins quite dull and still with acceptable hiss in "Undercover" and then the sound gets more and more shriller and the hiss gets louder and louder. During "It Must Be Hell" the hiss is really extremely annoying. So I tried to dehiss and/or treble boost each track individually and tried to make them sound all halfway the same. The problem is, that if you boost the treble you boost also the hiss, but I think you know that. I tried to find a compromise that is listenable and does not destroy the music. Please let me know what you think about it.
And I moved the short excerpt of "Still In Love" from the beginning of side 1 before the track on side 2 where it belongs.

Ignore the bit about "re-ordering" the tracks because I have put them back into the original order.

Thanks for your work. Don't forget that some people prefer to download mp3s rather than FLACS, especially if they have a slow internet connection.

You can upload anything that I created in any format you want - I have no problems with that, but I am allowed to tell my opinion about mp3 too, okay?

Not entering into the pro/con mp3 debate, but I've noticed that some hissy trax in mp3 format sound better than their flac/wav originals due to the fact that the frequency response is chopped off at about 16kHz

Thats an interesting point! i never thought about that. I've also read it said by "experts" that if one is using the 256 or 320 bitrate the human ear cant detect the difference. But I'm no expert so I don't know!

About hearing. I´m nearly 49. I recently had my ears tested.
The doctor said I have the hearing of a 20 year old.
Maybe that´s why I like music so much.
But it can also be a curse.

I don't think it's a question of age... but if you listen to a mp3 track at high volume then the format comes out in all its UGLINESS : glassy thin sound, clipped effect.

Imho mp3 appeals to ppl to like to collect everything that exists but who barely listen to what they got.
That's why I'm sticking to torrent sites for the most part ><

IMHO it all depends on the quality of the source. I'd personally rather listen to a decent recording @ 320kbps than a poor recording @ FLAC or Wave.

Much also depends on how the MP3 has been encoded. There's decent encoders and crap encoders.
