oh and by the way - the info is wrong.
LIV wasn't played in Perth, I checked it.

Amused,just wondered where you found that info? Is there an Aud recording? I know its not on the sb of that date cause its incomplete but it seems odd thats the only Australian show they didnt play it at. Although they didnt have it in the line-up for the Hawaii shows, did they?

2 Nico Zentgraf of course may be wrong but...

that list doesnt include all the songs played,just the same ones avail on the sb boot. I dont believe The Stones only did 12 songs at that venue. LIV was probably performed but I agree this version is probably not from that concert. Maybe its from one of the Australian shows thats complete.

There is only one 1969 LIV, because I prefer the non-slide solos for LIV.
I did include Hyde Park, because I wanted to represent 1969, and it's an interesting solo from Hyde Park (IMO). Plus, I needed 41 Licks to out do the recent Stones release 40 Licks.

I got the idea after FenderT made his YCAGWYW Solos disc (Leave Preaching To The Preacher).

Been toying with the idea of making a Midnight Rambler solos disc, using the section after the breakdown, just as it starts to pick up steam again. One of my favorite Stones musical moments. Keith's riff is beautiful.


PS The Perth solo error must have been caused by bad info on my CDr.

I don't think so. I was told there is some official material in it, so they won't allow it.
