"Sympathy for the devil" has nothing to do with the Stones.
It's a German TV series (13 episodes from 1971/1972, edited 1976/1977, some new episodes) about (German) youth culture.
The episode you mean called "Superstars" (broadcasted 1977/45 minutes) with Udo Lindenberg ‚ The Rolling Stones, Maggie Bell, The Kinks, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Paul Simon a.o.
The "Stones part" (including an interview w. Mick Jagger) is about 2 and a half minutes long, the "Faces part" is about 3 minutes long, the "Rod Stewart part" is about 4 minutes long.

Saw them twice in Düsseldorf around that time.
First on April 14th, 1971 in the Rheinhalle,
they were quite drunk, but very good nonetheless!
Then again a year later in the Philipshalle on March 12th.
By the time, Rod had a hit with "Maggie May" and the "Every Picture..." lp,
the band was successful with "Stay With Me" and they behaved even like superstars shouldn't.
Kept us waiting over two hours, no excuse, and a bad show.
