Bloody great! Will smoothly replace the hard-to-find IMP and VGP versions.

PS : I suggest you post your songs in groups rather than individually.
Since there is 15 minute gap between 2 DL on RS the more ndividual posts you make the more we have to wait.
Why not post 3 100 Mo big posts (with 4 or 5 songs in each) for example...?
It may take a while to upload but it makes the DL job easier for us.

Anyway your work is great and we all appreciate it! ;-)

A silly question : the songs succession doesn't match the one posted here
[www.nzentgraf.de]
Does anyone have an explanation?

On this DAC title You Gotta Move is played right AFTER Gimme Shelter not before...
In other words what's bugging me is the setlist is the one of the 2ND show...

Hey Marko! Glad I raised your interest...

Imho :
- Nico Zentgraf's infos on his site are wrong.
- he may have been fooled by the very 1st edition of the 1st Baton Rouge on CD (by the IMP guys) who had the running order of the songs messed-up. (Remember : IMP also f@#ked-up the songs succession on "Vancouver'72"!! Kudos to these real "pros"!)
- consequently both VGP & DAC have restored the right songs order on their CDs.
- if you look at the sleeve of the old lp "Recorded Live in Baton Rouge" (on Contraband) You Gotta Move is played after GS and before You Can't Always Get What You Want...

Case closed! (yuhuh!)

Could someone please post the above VGP-375 First Night Baton Rouge. Kessie says it was up at HungerCity. Even a flac post would allow UrbanSteel to add in MP3 320kbps for the non-flaccers. Very much appreciated by many.

By the way, it seems that the place called "Dunkirk Hall" does NOT
exists...

The venue is simply the Louisiana State University Assembly Center
and many other great band has played there...

Is it counterproductive to get a torrent account if all your files are in MP3? How can you maintain a ratio if you have nothing to seed? When everyone points to a show on a torrent site (all the 1975 shows I'm looking for are mostly there) is joining to just grab a show kind of mega-leeching?

Re: Post: Somewhere Over The Rainbow (DAC-085)

You can easily join a torrent tracker 'empty handed', since the very moment you've downloaded your first kb you got something to share - so basically keeping up your ratio is a question of keeping the torrent open.

If you decide to join be sure to read the FAQ's and tracker etiquette first.

It might be a good a only to download new torrents in the beginning, since they are easiest to achieve a good ratio with.

...sorry, but I'm not a native English speaker, so it may not be the most accurate description. Hope it helps just a tiny bit anyway...

Sohoe,

Thanks for the response, let it be once again, my sincere gratitude to you for the uploads you put up for me in the past, especially your laborous effort on the Texas Pop Festival.

What I don't understand yet is the seeding portion, how long do you "seed" a show or files to a show for? Do you upload a file and that's it or is something that you continually run? Can someone explain this system please.

Leicester 76!! I didn't know a recording existed. Is this the one with Eric Clapton, where they included Key To The Highway in the set as reported on Nico's site? If so, can you please post this.

"Is it counterproductive to get a torrent account if all your files are in MP3?"

"counterproductive" is a real understatement : you might be kicked out of the site and see your membership cancelled (a hassle on sites like Dime).
Basically all torrent sites run the same way with the notion of "ratio" : ration between what you upload and what you DL.
By "uploading" I mean you don't really need to bring anything new to the community (at least at the beginning).

Letting wat you've DL'ed available for others to DL for some time is often enough to keep an ok ratio.

I strongly suggest you start low with torrent sites till you get the idea on how it works. I recommend [www.purelivegigs.com] for starters. The ratio they require is pretty low 0.25 [getting 1 Go of stuff and redistributing only 250 Mo is allowed = really lax] so it's real easy to become an estimated member of the community without doing anything special ;-)

PS : DON'T start with DVD's. Get small 300 Mo audio-only files; you need to leanrto walk before you run... There is Stooges Paris 2007 up at PLG at the moment and there are 4 seeders for it
