Just read a great article about the 40th anniversary of the release of the film Deliverance. I was too young to see it when it first came out, but I still remember being shocked and awed by the film when I saw it years later. I think this scene is still one of the best music performances ever shot for a film.

That kid creeps me out, but Ronny Cox, in addition to being a very accomplished actor, also has a music career that he takes very seriously.

Didn't know about Ronny Cox, thanks for sharing. As for the kid, yeah he is very creepy, but that is the point, forshadowing the darkness to come...
