That is EXACTLY what I think everytime I hear a Faces tune on the radio.
one word: TETSU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
a few years ago when rumors of a faces reunion surfaced, an APB went out for him - i think at that time he was believed to still be among the living, but exiled somewhere in japan....
exactly what i posted on another forum earlier today. you THINK you wanna hear woody alone in a band with nobody to lean on and no chance to turn his own guitar off/down....
you're already there!
Ronnie's got some new poses and hand gestures that he wanted to run by his ol' mates....
sorta like:
two blondes are on either side of a river. one yells to the other, "how do you get to the other side?" the other responds, "you're ON the other side."
I am afraid there is nothing new in this "rehearsing":

was really impressed the day i saw weeks in the clapton band, and surprisingly he lasted there for months
One. Ronnie Lane - who had already left the band when they split anyway.
Rod, Ronnie, Mac and Kenney Jones are all still very much active.

If it's true...it's going to be exciting as hell to see Ronnie shine on guitar. Finally...in this band he has enough room and freedom to pound on that guitar and make it scream.

Would love to see the Faces get together and do some shows.
Reuniting the Faces might be a great way for Ronnie to get back in the swing of things.
Might even help jump start another Stones tour.

Darryl Jones played bass on the 'Ronnie Wood and Fiends ' London show
that was close to Faces (Mac, Kenny Jones) he'd be a good choice on bass.
and while they're at it, bring Jagger on to sing with them, Street Fighting Man maybe...

Stuff the RW bashers. He's playing great recently. New woman and no booze whilst playing in his favourite band but just be the ticket.

Wasn't there something like a 70s cover versions project of Ronnie, all of us were invited to suggest songs for?
I would like to see the Faces but I don't think they can arrange something out of the UK. Even Keith only did one German concert.
Rod has recently toured with a Greatest Hits programme that included the Faces and the solo songs then performed by the Faces. Somehow I am sure that he is looking for a new kind of identity after that Rod sings the Amercian Songbook stuff.
