The Rolling Stones band members biographies by IORR

IORR have got concert reviews and the latest news updates and virtually anything important to the biggest fans of the greatest rock'n'roll band in the world, but if a new fan is looking for info about Mick, Keith, Charlie or Ronnie, they have to go somewhere else. A shame really, because we are the experts! It is about time the real fans wrote the real biographies. I mean not the entire books, but a short and great biography, so that everyone who wonder can easily find the most important facts about the Rolling Stones band members, right here on IORR. I don't want the wiki format. It's like a library version. Missing the blues and soul and rock'n'roll. I want all the great real fans words, and not just one version, several ones, with the flavour. I am sure they will be great!

why re-invent the wikipedia articles? makes little sense when there are already so many well written and well sourced bios on the web. I simply cannot see what IORR would offer the reader that had more value than whats already available.

why re-invent the wikipedia articles? OLDKR

My great-grandfather was a professor for physics. He wrote his final theses in 1855 in Latin as it was the language of science then. He latinized his name too, from Rudolf to Rudolphus (lots of languages know that change too: f = ph, Josef = Joseph). He is mentioned in Wikipedia but due to his Latinization he is registered as Rudolph Franz (the thesis was signed as Rudolphus Franz). My brother inserted (he is registered on Wikipedia) but his change was changed again...

wow thats an original idea. of course anyone wanting to find out that information wouldn't think to use google would they or buy one of the hundreds of books out there.

Wiki and IORR is not the same. There's only one IORR. That's why I want it righ here. Long after Google or somebody else have bought up wiki and many other sites IORR will still be there with the real info about the Stones, still without advertisements and the option for Beatles or Garth Brooks fans to fix or change the history. Many reasons for having some real pages here.

Erik, in the forst post you find a link that it's for all members.

There will be one biography page each for every single band member of the Rolling Stones - past and present. For a start, to avoid too much work initially, we will start with Mick and Keith. Then we will move on to Charlie and Ronnie, then Bill, Brian and so on.

RS.com about Keith:

and something funny:

The Rolling Stones' lead guitarist Keith Richards claims to have snorted his father's ashes and has had enough blood transfusions over the years to feed a thousand vampires. At this point, we can't decide whether he's going to die tomorrow or live forever.

Could we at least get the 'coconut tree' myth corrected?

Wiki SUCKS. It is not dependable. Daily Show proved that one. I've gone in - with citations even - and corrected several wrong things about the Stones - and have been told they were not welcome.

So Wiki can have their bullshit and keep it.
