RON WOOD back on stage again!

Last Friday Ron performed 'Flying' together with SAINT JUDE in London at The Paradise. Seems his new girlfriend gives him the right energy. Hope to see him do more gigs soon.

Saint Jude by the way is a great new band wich reminds me a lot of The Faces and The Black Crowes in a positive way.
Their album is produced by CHRIS KIMSEY so no wonder it sounds good.

Last Friday we played a wicked gig at The paradise in West London, the place was heaving when Ronnie Wood walked through the door to see us perform, before long he was up on stage with us playing the faces classic 'Flying', check out what the papers said"

RONNIE WOOD may be in is 60s, but the rocker is proving he's still young at heart – after hosting a sleepover party with his 21-year-old girlfriend.

This weekend the Rolling Stone and girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova found an unlikely way to celebrate their blossoming relationship.

The pair left their Hampstead love nest to watch new indie band St Jude play at Paradise By Way of Kensal Green, but ended up back at the north London flat with two female friends and a dog...

An onlooker at the gig told theBuzz: "Ronnie and Ekaterina looked happy and when they went on the pub's roof for a smoke, both of them sat down and started getting very cosy."

Meanwhile, Ronnie's wife Jo is continuing to wear her wedding ring and spent yesterday being consoled by pal Jerry Hall, Mick Jagger's ex-wife, at the Tracey Emin and Her New Travelling Chess Set Launch Party in Hoxton.

On his night out with Ekaterina, former rehabber Ronnie, 61, stuck to drinking Coke. But he was still so excitable he jumped on stage to sing with the band.

The couple then headed to Islington to pick up two of Ekaterina's friends, complete with overnight bags.

Her new dog, Sheba, also joined them in the car. A source told us: "Ronnie seemed a bit out of it. He was shouting at photographers at his flat." We reckon he was just excited about a pillow fight...

... WOW, unfortunately I did not know, that he is playing some gigs currently, but I really wished to have been there.

So if anyone should know, that there are some rumours of planned gigs etc., please inform IORR members and post in the talk section ... Thanks (I'm in Germany and some folks in the UK are closer :-)

Sad about his Wife---But Woodie is entitled to be happy and it seems like he could be happy with his now lover. Now we just need to have Jagger, Richards and Watts all happy at the same time and cut a NEW ALBUM...

Have to say I like Saint Jude a lot! Listened to the tracks a couple of times and it's getting better each time.
Would like to hear them together with Ronnie.

I think the Jude's guitarist also played at the Ronnie and Fiends gig in London some years ago. I always wondered who he is back then, Ronnie somehow just introduced him as "my pal ..."

What's up with Ronnie's new album? Some time ago they posted something about this on his website...??

I like this kind of music. We kinda play the same style.

Only thing, - the girl has a good voice but I prefer male singers for rock music!
