Hmmmm, no, hbwriter - my guess would be someone in the crew - taking care of either equipment or refreshments. But I don't know for sure.

You know that huge billboard that advertised the tour
[had the logo and all the cities and dates)...
and right below it is a movie theater showing The Godfather Part 2?
Where in NYC was that? Anybody know?

Thanks Rock, that's just about the coolest ever photo of Rolling Stones
Well, Billy Preston looks a bit mis-dressed, but everything else is the way it's supposed to be

anyone remember the rolling stone article during 75 tour where lisa robinson brought jagger over to some writer's house for a visit? it was done from the writer's point of view, what it was like to open the door and have jagger at his doorstep

I'm guessing that Jagger was playing the piano during YCAGWYW - because you can see Ronnie soloing there; with a capo - and Preston doesn't appear to be singing his 2 songs....he's resting comfortably while playing piano.

I don't think that's a capo on Ronnie's guitar in that shot. It's just a shadow, probably from a mic stand. Ronnie wouldn't have used a capo on "You Can't Always Get What You Want".

Dave Marsh. Mick burned him Texas through Chicago and Dave packed it in. Very awkward meeting at Dave's flat in SF. Mick asked for coke, Dave told him to go to the kitchen and open the refrigerator and get it himself. Just stupid....

Since so many great shots have made it to this post--how crazy would it be to try and get at least ONE SHOT per city--not per show (yet) posted here-- sort of like that cool '72 field guide site - a great head start has been created so far--by my count, these cities are already covered:
NY
Milwaukee
Chicago
Baton Rouge
San Antonio
L.A.
Philly
Detroit

Left to cover:

Kansas City, MO
Saint Paul, MN
Boston, MA
Cleveland, OH
Buffalo, NY
Toronto, ON
Largo, MD
Memphis, TN
Dallas, TX
San Francisco, CA
Seattle, WA
Fort Collins, CO
Bloomington, IN
Atlanta, GA
Greensboro, NC
Jacksonville, FL
Louisville, KY
Hampton, VA

Sorry, I don't have a scanner anymore, and to post photos and see them all over the web without any credits to photographer, nor to the person who scanned it (not me in this case) is not that nice; but here's some Kansas City shots that I had stored - all credits goes to Gazza and the Rocks Off board. Unfortunately, there were no mention of the photographer - nor the date...allthough it's easy to see that it's Kansas City 06/06/75
BTW....last week I uploaded Kansas City to Dime....(from the VGP 123 bootleg, which seems to be the only source for that show) Available here: [www.dimeadozen.org]

FYI - from Creem mag, 1975

Mick Jagger: "I Can Get It Up, But I Can't Get It Down"
Dave Marsh, Creem, August 1975 OF COURSE, Mick Jagger was talking about flying the twin-engine Cessna which had brought him into the Marine Air Terminal in New York's LaGuardia Airport from Montauk, 120 miles away at the eastern tip of Long Island and which, he said, he had piloted himself. "We were stacked up for half an hour, circling at 1800 feet. We just missed the twin towers of the World Trade Center."

Ironic, given the anniv. this past week
