I certainly will.

I'll be in Stockholm some time in September to listen to
Elliot Murphy! An american artist who now lives in France.

A reallt great guy. He met Keith once and they started a conversation about
music. Elliott said he was a musician, so Keith asked him what instrument he played.

Guitar Elliott said. "Oh that damn thing" Keith responded.

Finally some good news. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

LATEST: ROLLING STONES star RONNIE WOOD's wife JO reportedly visited the troubled rocker in rehab on Tuesday (12Aug08).
The couple's relationship has been on the rocks after the ageing rocker whisked his alleged mistress Ekaterina Ivanova away on a romantic trip to Ireland last month (Jul08). He subsequently returned to the U.K. and entered a clinic to seek treatment for alcohol addiction.
And despite the Russian insisting she is in a serious relationship with Wood, and reportedly visiting him in at his rehab centre in Surrey, England earlier this month (03Aug08), his wife of 23-years is desperate to win the guitarist back - and attended the rehab centre to be by his side.
A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "Things are slowly starting to get back on track. Jo knows the affair was based on vodka."

Well this is good news.
It seems like Jo is determined to keep on supporting him
despite whatever happened here.

Great for Ronnie and his family!

We all love and need Ronnie!

Unfortunately, yes... And that Khazakstani girl (that's where she was born) is not even pretty, she sounds like she's a bit retarded, and according to Jo, she's a heavy drinker. It's not what Ronnie needs. And this worries me a lot.
I wish him all the best, but his love life could damage his health totally, and I hope he wakes up. Really soon.

LATEST: THE ROLLING STONES star RONNIE WOOD is to leave his wife JO, according to his alleged mistress.
The couple's relationship has been on the rocks after the ageing rocker whisked Ekaterina Ivanova away on a romantic trip to Ireland last month (Jul08).
He subsequently returned to the U.K. and entered a clinic to seek treatment for alcohol addiction.
Now Jo is allegedly moving to the U.S. to start a new life - and Ronnie is keen to move on, according to 20-year-old Ivanova.
She tells Britain's News Of The World newspaper, "Ronnie loves me and it's not about money.
"I'm looking forward to a fresh start with him. It's sad we've caused people pain. It's hurt his family and my family too, but we've just fallen in love.
"Ronnie is moving on. But I'm not taking someone's husband, he's leaving. I never persuaded him."

News of the World. I think someone said that 2 out of 3 in UK don't trust anhything prionted in the SUN. How about NOTW? More tabloid than the SUn, right?

The 61-year-old Rolling Stone plans to FALL into 20-year-old Katia’s arms, RENT a love nest for them both and BUILD a new life with her when he quits booze rehab in a few days.

Sounds like the perfect plan. When you are out of rehab, as a long time alcoholic, you move into a new life based on your latest drinking friend.

Not much difference between the News of the World and the Sun - both as bad as each other. The Sun and the Mirror claim the opposite - that Jo's "won the battle" and Ronnie is staying in rehab for four months. The gobsmacking claim by the Sun is that it's thanks to its stories about Ronnie that he decided to go into rehab. Yeah, right.....

maybe they're trying to even the score with the News of the World's 1967 coup. eye rolling smiley
like i said: better cut all this stuff - including contactmusic's regurgitations - into confetti

Well, the News of The world article couldn't even get two of the most basic facts correct, where he lives and old he is ... if that alone doesn't tell you everything you need to know about its sub-zero credibility, nothing will. Ignore, it's bollocks.

Re: Ronnie Ronnie Ronnie

From the beginning, the start of this story, some people have denied the information in absolutely every news story. Due to facts like: 1. They don't even know Ronnie's birth date. 2. They don't even know he's a guitarist. 3) This newspaper has been known to print things that were not totally true earlier. 4) They're not printing the name of the spokesperson for the Wood family. And so on.
Unfortunately, the essence of the story has been proven right. We had all the reasons to worry about Ronnie, his health, his life, his marriage, his future in the band and the well being of his family.
Isn't it about time the sceptics realise the facts here?
Keeping on denying what's happened seems a bit naïve.

(And the MT-freaks have behaved worse than vultures. Disgusting.)

Those papers never get all the facts right, but sadly, a lot of the stories turns out to be true. There was a lot of scepticism when the first news about mr Wood´s escapades this summer was printed, but they proved to be right.

Confetti is too good for those papers! There's a better use for them that doesn't take much imagination....

Agree 100% bv. If it is true it is surely the end for Ronnie. Let's just hope it's not.

So, an 18 month lease 'proves' commitment? Jesus wept.

I wouldnt give Ronnie an 18 month lease on any property, anyway. The way's he going, he wont be around that long.

Still, at least that'll keep the 'Go on Ronnie - live your life to the full' idiots happy.

At 61 and with his alcohol problem, I would imagine that his liver wouldnt be his only organ that could do with a transplant...

They make penis transplants now? Jesus. I could use a new one. The other one is worn out (Tigth pants and fat legs will do the trick).

I think that a separation from Jo will make him skinted again.
Of course he can sell paintings to finance a devorce.
"Saw Phill Collins devorce wasnt cheap for him"
So Ronnie beg on you knees infront of Jo and hope that she will take you back.

Does the word STARF***ER ring a bell here? She's wearing a Stones Tour of the Americas jacket with her tongue out like the groupies in the front row at every Stones concert. Whatever she can do in bed will wear real thin when Ronnie wakes up and realizes he lost his real love, Jo. At least I hope he wakes up and can manage to stay clean but I have little hope in that regard. The Stones aren't to blame for his alcoholism, it's a disease! I can imagine that it IS flattering for a 61 year old man to have an 18 year old after him! Maybe that will lose it's appeal soon too. Old men go with young chicks every day, they act like fools, lose their money and self respect then crawl back to their wives. It's a big chance to take. Maybe Jo will move on.

No news is good news (an old saying), but what's going on? I worry a lot about Ronnie, his health, marriage and the future of his band.
Are there any news?
