Not necessary,but they where colleges,and they respect each other a lot. I respect both of them.
They where the best guitar duo in R&R history imo.

Depends on what you call "bluesy".

It is impressive that Keith Richards was abled to play like that with all those substances in his blood. If I drink a bottle of wine I have problems to play decently, and I suppose that Keith went beyond one bottle of wine!

Ehum, Its not hard to play YGM.

My favorite part is at 0:53 where he repeats a tiny little sliding line.

What gets me, is how good Keith was already VERY early on. Far as his Blues playing, there are times I think that his '64 playing was his best. Which is something I don't want to say. A player should be in constant motion and development. And Keith did move on and up, very much so, just not in the straight Blues sense.

I know that it is not hard to play, but once again, I could not play like that if I had taken the same amount of substances as KR.

Yeah, Keith is as great a Blues man as is MJ who is one of the best Blues singer I ever heard. But unfortunately they involved in cock discussions and Superheavy trash.

Taylor overplays the way Christiano Ronaldo overplays but you would still have him in your team. Richards and Jagger didnt think he did, they let him do it, so why does it bother you.

It shouldn't bother anyone, as it was the right sound at the time.

But eventually, people got tired of long guitar solos, and punk was kicking in, partly because of that.

Yes and how long did it take to get sick of Punk, 2 years at best.

Well, Im still diggin Taylors guitar playing and Neil Young, the Godfather of Grunge. But the Pistols and my Pearl Jam records are just tracks on my ipod now.

Not true. There was quite some criticism especially from Richards that Taylor over-played. Nice footage is Richards yelling 'stop @#$%& around' during the middle break of TD in L&G.

Perfectly put ke richardson and I applaud your clear minded way of seeing things. I like much of what Keith has played over the years true. There's a few local unknowen players been at it for years who play just as well if not better however and I love their playing just as much. They just don't earn as much lol.
