In my opinion...horribly appaling. This is the stiffest, most bored old-aged band ever taped.

If you can't deliver the goods on stage, the worst thing to do is to release a rehearsel tape...

Keith still smokes at rehearsals. One would think Jagger and Chuck had demanded him to quit doing that...or maybe it's the other way around

Something about when the Stones play in a small room. The smaller the room...the better thay play, I feel. Maybe because they can literally feel the vibrations and sounds hitting each other in such a small space. I dunno...Charlie sounds great...and I think I actually see Keith playing chords?? Mick is obviously just going through it for the lyrics and not really singing. Still...I love rehearsal footage.

I dig rehearsal footage too. From here on out, if they only released rehearsal footage and studio footage from prior sessions, I'd be satisfied. Maybe.

Good version. Jagger sounds a bit "uninspired" because he
is just reading the lyrics down. But OK for me, it´s a rehearsal.
Tempo is right, guitars are right, NO backup singers!

Is this a SAL rehearsal? If so one would expect Jagger to be using his voice as little as possible, wasn't this when he had problems?

Stargroves, would you hold back if ya knew ya were filmed?

What are you on about? Apart from Jagger the version is fine.

Just a suggestion: from the speakers of the PC it sounds so and so, but from a proper stereo it is a very good performance. Of course keeping in mind that Jagger is not singing.

The solo is a total helpless mess....
Charlie's good. Ronnie's OK. The rest is dreadful. It doesn't matter since it's just a rehearsal - but why air it? I'm with Mathijs on this one.

Mathijs, you are always so dramatic with your choices of words...

It's a bit weird to watch with all the people milling around in the back ground and the camera angles make Ron Wood look like a cartoon charactor. Charlie is playing a really small drum set which looks a bit odd.
Performance isn't worth judging as it a practice - but why did they want the general public to see this?

with da Stones... But I'm sure that in one or two unguarded moments
even Ya Hi-ness Mathijs with band may look uninspired and not totally On?

I have been playin' (vocals/bass) in many bands, but I dont write about all the time.
I also had a hardcore poetry group with some semi-success on tv etc.

Question is, is this actually discussing:

Even thou it is back in the red-hot & groovy year of 1968 it is boring as hell.

It's not a personal attack. It's sarcasm. I know he has an opinion and that he's entitled to it, but every time it's just slagging off for the sake of slagging off. Why accept that? Seems like everything must be put down. A new awesome bootleg sees the light of day and everybody raves about it. But no: Here come the whiners and says either of two things: 1.- It's not as good as Brussels '73 (Which is a BS statement) or 2.- They can't play anymore, and must stop now (Which is also a BS statement).
