Rolling Stones Mobile Unit....lives!

Up in Calgary, there's an interesting Stones artifact--doing some research for a magazine article I'm writing and stumbled upon it--

The Cantos Music Collection is considered one of the most distinctive keyboard instrument collections globally... one unique non-keyboard item in the Collection is The Rolling Stones Mobile Studio, which was acquired in November 2001.

The Rolling Stones used this mobile recording unit to record some of their best records released between 1970 and 1980. Other well known bands from the past that recorded in the Rolling Stones Mobile included Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Dire Straits, Bob Marley and Horslips.

How it looks, today, as you enter:

Hey open-g, i just opened that link. I remember that thread! That was during my prime thread-jacking period. That pubically shaved comment still cracks me up!

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

Hey Cindy, sugar - yeah, I just re-read that thread too, and the OT jacks were funny as hell. I enjoyed them then, like I do today but I'm quite amazed that i pulled through - kinda straight-faced - and got some answers about the mobile.
hehe

Interesting! Thank you! Are there any more pictures of the mobile unit? Maybe from inside? And how did it end up in Canada?
