Yeah, but I aint paying for any women, either.

Too many acetates, demos, and REAL collectibles out there. NO excuse for these instant collectibles. Charge me $100 or $150 for a regular hardbound with dust jacket, and I am all over it.

JMHO.

"wild as a mad chicken"....Well, Look Out! I KNOW that feeling.

Erik, am impressed with your post. I've always wanted to know someone who has a Genesis book. They do beautiful work.

I would really like to buy the tribute to Stu book but will be waiting for a windfall to occur.

I couldn't resist the one of them Genesis books, Stonesrule - and it's absolutely terrific, never expected it to be that good - well both the pictures and the text is a piece of art, then again: I wouldn't thought so if 1975 wasn't my favourite tour. It's so thick....just like buying a pet.
If you are planning on buying the Stu book - maybe you better move fast. Didn't even think it was still available. And once it's sold out - the price will increase, in the 2nd hand market. Thought about picking that one up myself....but my wallet had to go to rehab for a while - and now; I just can't tempt it on getting hooked to the stuff again.

I worked on one of the Genesis books (1975 TOA)...but if I hadn't gotten for free, I wouldnt have bought it...JUST MAKE THE BOOKS AVAILABLE TO THE FANS, and I WILL quit bitchin'...sorry for the tirade, bu WTF, I deserve to at least have a chance at these, but I DONT, I AM TOO BUSY trying to document the records, and THAT AINT EASY...

STU

I share your opinion to certain extent, JR. Then again - a (much) cheaper book would not be in the quality of these Genesis books.
But the price is outragous. Still, this Let It Bleed book takes the cake - pricewise
One problem with this new book, is that most of the pictures, are well known by now, while both the Exile and the TOTA book contained previously unseen pictures.

Check ebay for "Dear Mr. Fantasy" - it's got great pics of the Beatles and the Stones 1969 and 1972 tours.
