It's not "pay" cable, like HBO, Showtime, or Cinemax. I wouldn't expect to get commercials during shows on those channels. It's just a cable channel that is part of the providers offering (at least where I live). It's no different than ESPN, MTV, Food Network, Disney Channel, TBS, TNT, etc. I fully expect to get commercials on these channels.
