Some addition: In Bill's book the Olympic studios are located in "Carton Street" which I can't find in any register of my London maps (Carson? Carlton? instead). They must have moved, as by 1968 (One + One) Olympic was in Church Road/Barnes. Theregfore, your suggestion that it was cheaper then can be correct, it only later became the well-known (and therefore, sure expansive) place.

Yes they moved to Barnes in 1966. There is footage of both Olympics on youtube.

Thank you, thank you, Rockman! Such a pleasure to read and look... That old and beloved play about Keith and Mick... both of them going "he does not remember a thing"... "he wrote it, not me". I know, it`s only literature - Mick says this and that, then fidgets... But Mick seems really need open as an artist and close as a man)). The words said by him on Exile make him feel uneasy - but he wants them to sound loud and clear...
Oh, I like the way they speak about all the Exile - like not about some affair of quite past, but as the thing is kind of alive yet.))

I like how in the small picture of Anita and Keith, Anita is wearing the pants that Keith wore on stage; the blue ones with red patches.

Among the brief obituaries in yesterday's Daily Telegraph:

Nevil Skrimshire

Feb 24, aged 86. Elegant six-string jazz guitarist who rarely soloed but was a favourite addition to the rhythm sections of Humphrey Lyttelton, Mick Mulligan, John RT Davies and Diz Disley as well as a member of Bob Cort's skiffle group. Recorded under the pseudonym Nigel Sinclair while working for EMI, where he turned down Mick Jagger's application for a record contract, telling him: "It would be fine if you could sing".
