Plexiglass Religion 3 Years Old Today
Posted by: timbernardis ()
Date: September 21, 2007 16:26

Celebrate the 3 year anniversary of the Plexiglass Religion today! The Wonders of He Who Has A Name were meant to be shared with all of us. The moment of inspiration came during the Boston 21 Sept 06 show -- whilst the setlist was going up on IORR to the wonder and amazement of us all. From this was born the Revelation and Belief as the power of the PLEXIGLASS was demonstrated for all to see ... He sets the setlists, and this was only one of His powers to be revealed in the future.

Now, back to the earlier thread ...

Lest we forget, today marks two years since our Enlightenment.

And I think it not a coincidence that the Enlightenment took place on the autumn equinox, or the changing of seasons, or perhaps the changing of minds.

The Plexiglass Prophet AKA "Plexi"

Its not an uncommon occurrence to have the setlist posted before the show takes place.

Great, I get drunk, get on this board and accidentally help start a new religion. As drunken accidents go that's a better than average result, but why couldn't I have accidentally fallen into a pile of money or naked supermodels instead?

I'm not sure the world needs a new religion, but I have stocked up on Windex in case the plexiglass descends from the heavens and needs me to clean some smudges off its holy surface.

leteyer -- The Plexiglass provides all my earthly needs. I did not choose, I was chosen.

ohno -- you are well prepared for the Second Coming; tomorrow you shall be with me in paradise

ryanpow - And I am very pleased to have you as a member of the Bay Area Plexiglass Society (BAPS). Now, some of the other members are sweetcharmedlife who has not yet posted on this thread, am beginning to get concerned, sarahuwin, who else?

Yes,let me jump in. I remember it well. I was fairly new to the board, their was much excitement about the next leg starting up. It was a good setlist. LIke Tim described the setlist was posted before the show. Hence the whole praying to the plexiglass thing......No offense my Montana friend, but I don't thing all of you prayed hard enough for the London shows, because those were lame setlists.....But the next time they visit the Bay Area,of course we will get an awesome setlist. Because their is no greater force in the world than the BAPS.smiling smiley

God knows how many times I've been holding my breath while the first few songs are written there. I just have to know when I have the opportunity.
Will never forget Paris when it was so clear what she wrote as song number 5.

Jadells,

I think you have been adequately rebuked by KWhinos and Edith Grove, I need say no more along those lines, these Believers have done it for me. I am especially proud of Edith Grove, who is a recent convert to THE WAY OF THE PLEXIGLASS.

"cool but kinda lame at the same time" -- in a sense, I can agree with that, the whole thing is a bit off the wall and you have to cue into that special sense of humour but more importantly INSIGHT to join the Believers and become a part of THE PLEXIGLASS WAY OF LIFE.

You are cursed, but do have the opportunity for forgiveness and community as the Plexiglass is a forgiving, merciful god.

I don't know about an autobiography, but I have already put down on tape some of my experiences during the ABB tour, written others as well (mostly as posts or e mails) so I have a decent record already if I decide to write the story of my ABB tour (27 shows).

I have been encouraged to do so by certain elements of the German fan base. It would probably include experiences about my trips to Europe (wrapped around ABB shows) and Israel as well.

Expand it to cover my whole life? Maybe later. I have had a lot of interesting and different experiences in my life. But I am also engaged in working on family history and that is partially why I continue to return to Germany and Croatia whilst I am in Europe.
