New Tour, But Not As The Band Would Be Cool

It would be great when The Rolling Stones would tour solo in 2008.

I would love to see Mick Jagger and also Keith Richards and maybe Ronnie Wood and also Charlie Watts with their own projekts live in concert.

What do you all think about this???

No. I want to see again the Rolling Stones as the band.

The whole is much better than the sum of its parts.

yeah , as the band , if they tour usa for a few months in spring/summer 2008 , i will surely go to many shows there , as im going to chicago on april first days but i have to lose some classes days, but the stones are a good motive to not go a few days.
the real thing is they will tour again

I saw Ronnie at a club in the early '90s.

I figured the place would be jam-packed, but it was only about 3/4 full. Mac was on keyboards with him.

Not one bit of a chance would anyone here prefer to see a solo stone show over the band show. its the stones till the end now, n thats the way it should be.

I've seen The Rolling Stones 11x live and I would love to see also Mick Jagger in a solo concert, someday.

Of course they are as a band, the greatest live-act. But solo shows would be also a pleasure for me and I think the solo shows not so expensive like the band shows.

i'd love to see X-Pensive Winos live in 2008 and Stones in 2009 with new album. There's no point with touring without new album. Winos, Mick solo would be great and refreshing for the band

they also wont be as good. jagger's solo shows may feature technically more adept musicians but they just simply dont have that magical 'Factor X' that the Stones do.

That, plus the fact that at this stage in their career, the Stones maybe dont have a lot of time left as a 4-piece unit. A year off to play solo shows is a year of Stones inactivity that as fans we cant really afford. let them indulge all that solo stuff when the Stones are done.

Agree, although Mick's performance in 1993 in Webster Hall is absolutely killer.
