Aha - so that's what he's playing on Shine A Light.
Looks like a Waylon Jennings Tribute Telecaster.

it's supposedly got Scruggs tuners and is covered with leather applications.

Thanks for 'identifying' the guitar Keith's playing on SAL. The thing looks so cool. *lol*

I loved watching Bonnie Raitt performing with the Stones on the DVD, they did a wonderful job! I found it so sweet when she said Merry Christmas in the end.

Can it actually be Waylon's guitar? I recall after Jennings died, 4 or 5 of his guitars hit the market. I know they were listed in the Vintage Guitar paper, and if I remember correctly, they were fairly cheap($5K maybe..) Maybe KR picked one up..

It is quite possible.

This Tele is IDENTICAL if not the very same one used on the Dukes of Hazzard intro shots post season 1. It is the very same 68ish rare bird with maple cap neck and CBS logo combination (usually it is a trans logo with cap and CBS with the return to skunk stripes) and the leather design is the same. Even has the same low E tuner! Note the added string tree in the exact same spot across from the low E tuner. WOW! Good to know it is still around and from the looks of it, in great shape!

I consider it the best Tele-Site in the web.
Just my 2 cents
