There were 4 tour debuts in this show: Can't You Hear Me Knocking, Wanna Hold You, It's All Over Now and I'll Go Crazy which is also a live debut as far as I know.

These 4 songs bring the A Bigger Bang tour total to 78 different moving it past the 76 songs done on the Bridges/No Security tour and putting it into a tie with the Licks tour. One more tour debut and this tour will go down as being the tour where the Stones played the most different songs.

With this back ground, it's pretty amazing with all the whining.

Just got back from the show.

It was an aweful night, because of one man: Keith Richards. Completely drunk, didn't play one good note all night.
Satisfaction: I never heard them (Keith) that bad.
He completely messed up Paint it black, Sympathy, his own set, nearly everything.

On the bright side: I was pleasantly surprised with Ronnie. He played good. His solo on Can't You Hear Me Knockin was great. Actually he played great all night. They should have turned his volume up and Keiths down. Ronnie looked really sober and focused. Great to see.

Mick... ofcourse... excellent.

Charlie missed some beats, but I can understand if you have a guitarist who ruines everything.

The James Brown song was real fun. Heartbreaker & Can't You Hear Me Knocking were the highlights.

But damn... Keith Richards...

You didn't enjoy the show at all? Curious about the other reports coming in.

I ALWAYS enjoy Mick Jagger. So I enjoyed that. And Ronnie... I'm really happy to see him playing good.

we do not

and by the way
he played wonderful tonight
the opening riff to start me up was great as always

You must have been to a Stones Tribute band. That's NOT the real Keith.

I guess keith is like a racing car
he might burn
he might have lost a tire or two
but in the end he will win the race

it's Keith Richards
the man
the riff

It should be if 35000 people pay €80 to see him play.
It is to Mick, Ron & Charlie who really tried their best... and were good.

I'm 51 , I wish I still had any hair , I shave what pitiful amount is left . Figure 2 years of shaving will buy me a ducat for a show

keith richards drunk??
do you expect him to be sober????

where are you living? on mars

I don't want to see Keith sober
that would be the worst

he played very well tonight
rocks off has been awesome
and that song isnt easy to play

and bowie when you say ronnie played better than keith I don't get it
nothing against ronnie
I like him a lot
but Keith is the man
he is THE MAN
THE ROCKSTAR

don't compare those guys

Hello,
just got back from the concert.
Too tired for an extensive review now,

overall, the concert was great, enjoyed it,
setlist was excellent,
liked the sound on Some Girls, very punk,
Mick missed the verse with black girls wanna f......
SOund at the B stage was good (better than I saw last year), song selection also, Satisfaction worked very well at B stage

Atmosphere was positive, despite the awful choice for the location of the concert, lot of people were stucked up in the traffic,

it took me 3h to get there from Brussels (35km), and 2h to get back ;-(

The concert started around 22:10 and finished at 00:20.
My impression was that the place was pretty packed, would say more than reported 30-35,000 people in attendance.

Also, must agree with BowieStones about Keith Richards, most of the show he was out of tune/ or not playing, sorry if this will offend someone, but the playing was really below his normal/ average performance, though he improved towards the end. Just trying to be objecive here. More posing from him than Ronnie (so quite unusual)

Mick, Ronnie, Charlie and the rest - standard, Mick talked a lot,
Ronnie quite solid, Charlie, well, what to say, standard ;-)

Overall, good concert!
