What's going on in Werchter? (With final setlist and pics)

A classic thread at almost every show last year, as I recall.

Neither here nor at Rocksoff there seems to be information from the site as it is now...

Van Morrison will be up in an hour or so...

(I just got a call from Marco, reporting the rehearsal of ATGB in Dutch.)

Some time later he calls again:

"Marco vertelde me dat het écht op z'n Belgisch is geregeld. Bij het open gaan van de poorten renden als een speer naar het FOS-vak. Daar aangekomen werd men terug gestuurd, om bij de poort eerst een bandje te halen. Uiteindelijk buiten adem toch nog een het FOS-vak. FOS-vak tot circa twintig meter van de B-stage."

(At opening of the gates people ran to FOS. After arriving there, they got sent back to the entrance for getting their wristbands. Finally he arrived at the FOS section, which lasts up to 20 metres from the b-stage, breathless.)

Gazza contacted someone to keep us up to date (Mr Jimmy @ Rocksoff). We'll see.

- What entrance (main entrance or the inside entrances of both sides for FOS) ?

No news yet. Van Morrison should be doing his set about now.

On stonesforum.nl they're getting messages that the crowd and atmosphere are superb.

The wheater is outstanding btw. We here have the same wheater and I'm enjoying it a lot in the garden...
It's 22.4 degrees celcius with 50% humidity at the moment. And no rain.

satisfaction 2, sorry I wouldn't know.

This site [www.wegeninfo.be] reports heavy traffic on the motorways around Leuven/Rotselaar (Werchter), advising people to avoid certain exits and roads.

Some of us have to work during the day you know! There is info - there just hasnt been a thread on the show until now (I'll start one shortly)

Mr Jimmy will be texting me the setlist and I'll post it over there as it happens. No doubt someone will be able to 'shadow' it here too!

I am alimente's nephew, he is in Werchter and will call me right after the show. This is the entire set as rehearsed in Brussels. Let's check then how the actual setlist tonight differs from the rehearsal.

Could you edit your first post then please?

They'll play Simpathy for the devil and Satisfaction too. Just they didn't need to reherse them. If you add these two, here we go, 20. Not a bad setlist!
But they always surprise me, so let's see!

Go ahead, praline! Shouldn't take long now. 30 minutes or so? Wonder if Van the man has finished his set. Any info on how many people are there?
