.... two years????

I'd love to a fly on the wall during their jams. It would be hard for me to resist shouting out my wishlist in between sets. I think I'd just provide keef with cigs, roll his splifs for him, fetch his JD and then at the end of the night hand him a small notecard with the words "Good Golly Miss Molly - set opener" written on it. Then the next night "Flight 505 - bstage". Then "@#$%& - encore"... =)

What we can notice is that Keith rehearsed a wide range of songs, but I really hope and look forward to listening to Little T&A, and to some of the songs the band played during the Fall 2006 US Tour : Far Away Eyes, Dead Flowers, She Was Hot and Sway, which for example has never been played yet in front of a french audience.

But what has this to do with "security reasons" ???

Give me a break. The professional autograph hunters arrive by car half an hour before the Stones arrive if they know their schedule. They do not waste time. And whenever the Stones sign, they push hard and get rid of other fans. There was a real fight in Toronto because of this. This is just one of many examples why it is important NOT to publish details of schedules, hotels, addresses and so on. The real fans do find out by word of mouth because they need to find out. If I published exact details of where and when and all of that there would be 200 people outside and nobody would have any sigfnatures or see anything. The Stones would drive in drive out from the hotel garage and nobody would be happy. I am sure this is not so hard to understand.

Also, ever heard about the Dakoda Building? Give me a break. Please respect the fact that this band need a certain level of security. By the way this is a rule here on IORR it is not open for discussion. Please keep this thread on to the Brussels rehearsals and please respect the security policy. I am not interesterd in twisting words related to this policy. Thank you.

Re: Tour rehearsals in Brussels

Yesterday a female professional autograph hunter was choosen by Stones-security
to have a 10seconds-look inside rehearsalstudio.
When she returned (after 30sec.) she was not much excited because it was forbidden to talk and ask autographs, later on the night she was even disappointed about "missing her big chance to ..."
The real Stonesfans couldn't believe their eyes and ears (including me).

After Keith's nightsession at the gate she was really angry on local security because she didn't get Keith's autograph.
These guys were talking about tighten up security.

I bet my money on it she don't know the difference between a guitar and a drumkit ...

Never heard of it. I know a building called the Dakota Building though. grinning smiley

Actually funny story about the Dakota Building:
Two of my Danish friends went to New York for 14 days in 2005. They came to the Dakota Building, famous for being the place of John Lennon's assasination. They wanted to take a polaroid for me with one of my friends lying in front of the building pretending to be dead (As a joke. We have the sickest humor). Only, they didn't do it, because as they were just about to do it, Yoko Ono walked out of the building. So instead they called me up from New York in the middle of the frickin' night and told me about it. smiling smiley

Boah, I'm getting excited what Keith will present to us:
Happy, Wanna Hold You, Can't Be Seen, You Got The Silver, Infamy, Before They Make Me Run... for rehearsing mostly fast tunes by now, he might play sometimes two rockers and no ballad?!?!

Hi,

I'm new to this forum. Actually, I only found out about it a couple of days ago whilst looking for info about the Stones in Brussels. This place seems cool and so far I enjoyed reading your messages.
Anyway, I had the pleasure to go to Vilvoorde to take some pics today and I wanted them to share them with you. Hope you like 'em...

Regards,

I'm very surprised in a positive way about Ronnie.
He really looks great, seems to be very healthy - nice to see him in this shape. Maybe this will have some effect on his playing - solos like on Licks would be fantastic.

I must say they all (even the back up-musicians) look very healthy and in good shape.
