Mick arrived yesterday evening around 8 pm at the airport, Keith came in around 10 pm.
We, the 4 or 5 fans that were there, got a couple of guitar pics.
As it was already late, not much to see on the pictures (the tarmac where Keith got out of the plane didn't have much light, so that didn't really help)

Please do NOT post any details of rehearsals schedules, due to security issues. Thank you.

What can happen you recon? Are the hardcore fans, normally waiting for an autograph or two, now planning the assasination of Daryl Jones? Or do you think they will moon when Lisa passes by? Or shout "we love the Beatles" real loud?

Sorry, I might be one of your 'monkeys' again for this BV, but.........everyone and their Mother knows where the studios are, and are free to stand outside and observe. The stones are protected up to the hilt, as usual, with heavy and expensive security. Wouldn't someone who wanted to pose a security threat go and observe 1st hand rather than take a look at your public site and base his attempts on what was written there?????? I can't believe you posted that.....but it's your site, just seems kind of dumb to me.

1st we get a blow by blow of irony and it's uses that took just about any humour out of the post, now overprotective cringe-worthy nannying.

Oily, the monkey who is living in the real world.

Ever heard about professional autograph hunters? They need help. And they get 8 out of 10 autographs they sign. Once they are at the location. They push you hard and elbow their way. You find them in any country. I see them at every rehearsal site. They show up 2-3 days after rehersals start. They are local and they sell their stuff on e-bay for profit. I don't collect autographs myself so feel free to post reheals details with exact arrival and departure times. If you want to make the job for these guys easier. Real fans have no problem doing this of course, but when the pro's in place half of the real fans will not get what they are there for...

Will they give a rehearsals club gig show in a little club, this time before the tour start in Brussels or nearby Brussels with a little crowd?!

Just got a text message from Harm. Mick has just arrived at the Videohouse, so it seems proper rehearsals wil be kicking off today.

Here's my idea: 29th of May - AB in Brussels, who wants to bet?

Thomas - tables turning now, her time to cry -

If they do a club show, I would be surprised that it would be after just 2-3 days of rehearsals

They have ten days until the tour starts. If they're confident that 10 days is long enough to whip themselves into shape, they probably feel that they dont need a warm up show.

I would have been more confident of one had they started rehearsing a week or more ago.

Hope I'm wrong - it would be great if they did. The Euro fans certainly deserve something like this, and the publicity would help a late run on ticket sales.

Indeed, no concert on that day at AB, rest of the week is full

Did that guitar pick say 2006 or 2008? Kinda hard to tell.

The owner of AB Brussels said he hasn't been contacted for a stones club show on radio station Studio Brussels. He also doesn't have a clue of where it will be.

I'm surprised that you, Mathijs, who claim to be a grown-up
can type such stupid things!
Keith Richards had a megamega film premier three days ago and the band
in itself is one of if not THE most famous band in the world.

Being un-careful with these issues means their security havre to work
double, they have to put more dough into those parts & the tickets
will be even more expensive.

Please think before you type!

What a farce! So our leader cites 'security issues" and then comes up with the threat of professional autograph seekers?! Sure, they are scumbags but that is hardly a security issue.

So because Keith is in a major film we have to tighten up security? That's a ridiculous statement.

You just dont know what you are talking about.

Having you as security in charge would be Altamont all the way.

Too much pot around you.

Have some intelligence for Christ's sake. Keith being in a movie in no way impacts any potential security concerns. If anything, his little joke about snorting his father could have opened him up to threats from religious nuts. Did you think of that?

Professional autograph seekers are NOT a threat to security. Sorry. It's just the way it is and that was the main thrust of my post. BV cites security and that's the best stuff he comes up with.

That's the best you've got.....come on. Give us all a lesson in security and intelligence techniques. I'm assuming you're related to Allen Dulles, or someone along those lines.

Frankly Mathijs post was funny; it's a shame your sense of humor doesn't allow for any enjoyment of it.

That's interesting, I'd forgotten about that web-info. I suppose something has happened the last 2 years that has changed the web-editors stand ?

There has been a special news item at the VTM channel.
They said the stones wanted to keep their visit secret but now (due to bad sales) they announced they're in Belgium. During the whole thing they followed the guy behind the Sticky Fingers fanclub. They went to the "hotel X" and talked with Chuck and Bernard outside. They filmed Charlie's arrival at Vilvoorde studio and Mick's arrival with a plane. And Mick sitting in a car while passing by (but you couldn't see him).
