Yeah. Great song too. But didn't they start last night? Why haven't we heard anything yet?
I saw when I came back from Brussels (and this was totally by chance) around 5 pm on the motorways towards Brussels -they came from the direction of the airport- a convoy of 3 monovolumes with in front of them motor police racing toward the city and taking the tunnel direction their hotel and where they have hired 4 complete floors for 2 weeks.
I have the feeling that the boys are in town!
Seems normal because roumor has it that tomorrow evening the first rehaersal will take place.
The are still unloading trucks at the Videohouse studio at this moment. I saw already some familiar looking roadies at noon entering the studio.

Hey Bart! Please remove the name of the hotel!!!! But great info you're providing. If it's impossible to hear the rehearsals, it's because it's in a TV studio... Sound proof walls.
I think it is wise not to publish names of hotels and so on. People who want to find it and who are real fans will sort it out anyway. The psychos don't know the right questions to ask. We do know they sign material and are quite friendly when arriving and leaving. No reason for making the job easier for the psycho. Thanks!
By the way - thanks for the great news from Brussels!
Sound proof walls indeed, but there is on the right hand side of the studio bulding a gigantic gate that can be opened to roll in decor items in the studio. I hope Keith gives the order to open it a little bit so the fans can enjoy the rehearsals, just like in Toronto.
I removed the name of the hotel as you requested, because I agree with the webmaster.

Reminds me of the summer days in 2002, when I was lucky enough to "follow" the rehearsals/recordings in Paris from outside with some of you people, great weather, only a handful of people who "knew" and direct contact to the Stones and their entourage everytime they arrived and left (those who watched the Four Flicks documentary know what I mean...), great memories!
Hope you guys in Brussels will have a chance to catch them, too, and to hear a bit of what´s going on inside, good luck!

Agreed. It's like some lunatic would browse through iorr before he'd zero in on the band. On the other hand, bv might delete this thread so we'd better keep the name of the hotel unpublished.
Hello Bart from Brussels (I hope that you're NOT the brother of Jean-Claude),
On stonesforum.nl, you've a link to the ****** Hotel where the Stones are staying. Someone even posted the exact address of the rehearsel studio in ....
Anyway, I'll go to the Hotel this WE and I went already inside the studio this morning! I hope that NO Stones T-shirts will appear or that nobody of the Belgian fanclub with the ridiculous TV-crew of Man Bijt Hond will be at the gate in the following days.
Oh yes, just watch Ring TV in Belgium for all updates.
I agree that it is not important if or if not somebody publish the name of the hotel in general. Just be sure not to write in detail exactly when they leave, what they do, where they go etc. You know... common sense. That is all I am asking for. Everybody in Brussels know about the great hotel they have there. It is not a big deal. Feel free to stretch the rules a bit on this thread, withy common sense, but still no politics. Sure Conrad is a great place. We all know. OK? Thanks!

no psycho will kill the stones anymore they are way too much out of time sorry
This is an artikel in "De Standaard" newspaper today, which enlarges the negative perception around the Stonesconcert in Werchter en Nijmegen. What a shame because the rehearsals can start any moment now.
The artikel makes the link between the concerts of the Stones and the Who. The Who have sold only 4.000 tickets and the concert will not be in the "Sportpaleis" in Antwerp, but in the nearby much smaller Lotto arena (which will be 'sold out').
(red)
The stones crew stays in a different hotel (also very classy, but not that classy as the one where the 'members' are staying) in the Brussels city center. No swimmingpool e.d.

Imagine the Stones open an European Tour and nobody is interested...

Such a disaster would not have happened if the tour would start in Dresden or Erfurt ;-)) Cohl has lost his relation to reality completely.
