Looks as though Keith and family were having some fun. He is clearly a happy guy and smelling the roses at this point in his life. Good for him!

I've always kind of lived my life like Keith. Now with the beer gut I look like him as well..........But what I noticed the most about those pictures is the great big smile on his face.

I agree that Keith does look healthy in a good way.
OK so he's not toned and athletic like Mick...but the spreading middle and fuller face over the last couple of years are maybe the result of cutting back on the more sinister over indulgences.
Better Keith eats all the pies than does all the drugs, smokes all the fags and drinks all the spirits !

How about some kewl commentary about how great Johhny was in the original
movie, and how awesome it was because of his excellent portrayal of
Keef. It was like Keef was in the movie, and how great to honor Keef by
inviting him to be in the 3rd movie..

OR how kewl it was that Keef actaully showed at the gala affair, after Disney
was reported to have uninvited him

There will always be some people who are into improving their own ego by criticizing others. Just ignore. That is the bad part about internet. Unless you cencor dramatically and very hard, these monkeys will always have a saying. I did not like the first Pirates. Thought it was for kids. I'm considering going to see the latest one only because of Keith, but I don't want to sit through two hours of silliness only to see a short cameo of Keith.

Does anyone know how much involvement Keith has in this film?

i really doubt this is just a beer belly. i first saw it in berlin last year and was seriously concerned. it progressed massively now. keith has never been fat and he isn´t now. look at his arms and legs, there is not one gramm of fat, there are not even muscles. he is actually very very thin. to me it looks like ascites due to liver-cirrhosis, which of course is just one possibility. some people say he looks healthy. but actually this is the complete oppossite of looking healthy.
i also don´t think he consults the doctor regularly. people who do that are concerned about thereselfes which keith isn´t.
as a huge keith fan i am very shocked to see these pictures, i better wouldn´t have seen them.
buy tickets! one day any tour will be the last tour.

Rock stars are very much about image, Keith is and always was very aware of his looks. I don't care about his belly, my concern is his hair. Lol.

He's had that 'tummy' for years.

All things considered, I think he looks well. Better than for some time. In the pix where you can see his eyes, they look healthier than they normally do.

Disneyland was rockin last night! Keith looked very healthy in person yesterday, idon't know what all the negative is but i guess that's par for the course for the monkey's. If any of you get the e-channel i think there showing it today at 6'clock eastern time in the US,The Red Carpet. It was interesting seeing Keith in a different role,he looked very,very happy,I think because there were a ton of little kid's, a total different thing then a Stones gig,I think he dug it very much,all the year's of accolade's are paying off greatly.

i absolutely agree with that. i am sure he doesn´t like his belly himself, which makes me even more concerned, because if he is aware of his looks why is the belly there? i think the belly is there because he can´t cotroll it. it doesn´t go away by diat, because it´s not fat!

did you know that people with liver cirrhosis actually can look pretty good?
which doesn´t mean that i think that keith actually looks healthy like some people on this forum do.

GA - yes. Not sure about going early. Depends on the others I happen to be with and what I'll be doing that day. there's always a way of getting a good vantage point without being down front for 8 hours, which doesnt appeal to me at all!

Did you see if Keith signed at all yesterday? I had debated going down there to the premiere, but was hearing that early in the morning it was already several people deep from the barricade, plus I didn't think it would be likely that Keith would sign in such a big crowd. He's a sweetheart if you can get up to him one on one, as 2 years ago, he signed 4 items for me and 5 for my friend, plus posed for photos with us, when I met him outside the recording studio here in L.A.

Remember how people on this board made rude comments on Mick Taylor's weight? Keith's belly could put things back into perspective. Maybe when you're over 60 the music counts and not the well-shaped body any more....?

This has turned into one of those silly threads you wish you'd never gotten involved with !
How come folks always want to make a big deal out of a few light hearted comments.
Why is it that every time Keith appears in public we have every self appointed physician on the planet prognosticating about his imminent demise !
I give up .
FWIW, the nature of Keith's little paunch is more down to bad posture and not giving a damn than to anything else. Keith's always had that arched back sort of pigeon chested posture... which will always ensure that your belly gets there before the rest of you. ;^)
