I was being flippant, I agree. It's all the more annoying because I've seen Chris and his Atcha band at that very venue in the past and was absolutely blown away, I've long been singing his praises on IORR. I'd have really really really liked to have seen him anyway, but to have also seen elder bro Mick would've been an added bonus. O well, no use crying over ........

Interesting question - let's estimate how many people who go to see Chris Jagger go because they are really into Cajun music and how many go because he is Mick's brother....!

I've seen Chris Jagger twice. The first concert was really good. In Bergen last years it was horrible. The backing band was a bummer (Dirty Dogs, some norwegian kids).

Just spoken with him, he missed it too ... and it's barely a 15-20 min walk from where he lives !!!

Well, I don't know how many times I've told people to go and see Chris Jagger - at every opportunity. I know it's worth it, even if Mick's not on stage with him.

Saw him in Paradiso. Nah! Excellent guitar player though. You only like him because he is....:-)

Ok, fair enough. Guess he didn't do it for you then ? Different strokes for different folks, I think his full blown Atcha band is superb and I love Cajun ! As for his famous elder brother ... that really doesn't determine whether I like Chris' music or not. I'm not quite THAT shallow !!

Well we thought he was Excellent in the Paradiso.

If he is ever playing anywhere near me I would definately make the effort to be there.

Hmmm, my money's on a short grey-haired lady with the initials LR. Just a hunch. I don't know if she posts on this site, but she seems to be at every stones related thing that I ever turn up to, and I have seen her credited in the IORR magazine before for news/photo's etc...

Can't believe this was all going on literally one mile from my home...
