a friend of mine talked to them in the morning and was told that everything was going to be OK today (and yes, you can buy tickets). They also suggested him to buy it in the box office because the Internet selling will be delayed. (that's true, I bought ticket in the box office, but noone could buy via Internet yet.)

I mailed them, here's the answer:

OTP's site was very busy, they investigate the problem. Hope it will be
working soon.
If you want, you can order through phone, it is not the most secured way,
buti t can work. Of course, there is no abusement with your datas by our
company.

I always wanted to see Budapest...it has been a dream of mine..., but...wow...so no FOS? Well...the hell with it...I just bought a flight and tickets to the Strolling Bones in Budapest! I'll make sure to get there early in the a.m. and go right up front. I've never been to Hungary so I'm looking forward to a great concert and a wonderful visit. Hope to see many IORR lunatics there...

there won't be any FOS in Budapest, got this message from TicketPro after asking them if they will have any FOs tickets sooner or later. Weird, as as our friends from Hungary reported, they were told on the phone there will be FOS tickets for sure.

just ordered my ticket - no problem

I FINALLY just got through today to Ticketpro and it looks like I got decent seats (trying all the way from the west coast of Canada). But what a rough night - 9 hours time difference and all.

Thank goodness my wife has relations in Holland that I can have the tickets mailed to - and at a ridiculous price for a few stamps! Very strange that they don't want to mail to the USA or Canada. How hard could that be? But Budapest should be a great place to visit!

I'm pretty sure you will figure the situation out and get to Budapest. Maybe there will be e-tickets. Or maybe you can share the cost of sending the cost of Budapest ticket with someone, that's what I did.

pretty close with my measures Brno-Budapest.......

And please remember (if you already don't know that) that getting from Gdansk (probably that's where you're starting in Poland) to Budapest will take you from 15 to 20 hours. Maybe a bit less to Brno. The roads in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia are usually very bad.

i finally got through to ODP and finalized the sale of my one standing ticket.

they wrote me back to say that they would send a ticket to the USA - i had to choose the option for "europe" - even though it says on the website "do not select this option if your country is not listed here" and the US is not listed! dumb!!

Good for you LQ. The system seems to have started working about 5 hours ago.
About sending those tics I don't know why they can't just mail casual letters with insurance. Much cheaper and as reliable. Hope to meet you in Budapest.

crazy that the general admission is not the cheapest!

i'm skipping brno but will do rome and budva. maybe we can set up meetings before shows like shidoobees (maybe the night before since we'll be lined up in front of the venues on show-day)
