Beautiful interview!

It gives the other side of the moon of the so called "vegas act". Yes there was the spectacle for the casual fans, but also much more for who wanted to see.

Go back and listen to ronnie's work during the Abb tour, it all makes sense. There is the desperation, the blues, and yet his unbeatable humor and rock and roll.

And the same can be said for all of the others too.

It made me ponder what Keith thinks about Ron's painting.

"...no longer shall you trudge 'cross my peaceful mind."

It's quite unbelieveable that Keith almost killed Ronnie because he tought he was cheating on his wife... Such a decent boy, that Richards. What if he'd beaten up Mick all the times he's been cheating on his women... No! Don't even try!
Thanks for posting, Rockman.
I have an Elektrokampaniet, too. They're the best. Pity they're out of business now.

That might be the best interview I ever read with Ronnie.

"...no longer shall you trudge 'cross my peaceful mind."

Yes, very decent, and a hypocrite: "Lots of things can happen in the back of a car, and it did". A famous quote in business of cheating...

thanks very much indeed Rockman! have some popcorn.
i think the scene where he almost put Keith out a window was actually from the late 90s -
maybe he's done it more than once, though.

Rockman honey, what does the missing line in the middle of the third column on the last page say, please and thank you?
the one just to the right of "the boozy rock classic", where he's talking about playing Satisfaction in concert

Keith's name appears twice on the cover of this issue of MOJO. One time in reference to the Ronnie interview (this headline is behind the free CD stuck to the cover). The other headline refers to content by Mick & Kick in the tribute to Ahmet Ertegun.

As for Ronnie's paintings selling for up to $1 million, well, that figure made my eyes pop.

The Vancouver gig was the best they've ever played, Ronnie says. Any comments on that? (from people who were there)

Excellent read--thanks for posting Rockman.

Isn't it odd, that no matter who the person is, when it comes to recovery it is always "...3 mths since I...."

Seriously, w/o fail that's the way it goes.

I am not saying it is BS in Ronnie's case, I am not there, how would I know. What I do know is that it has always been ".... months since I last...."

How can you not like Ronnie and The Stones after an interview like that? Great read.
