Last night I got a call from a friend that Mick was eating where he was at a restaurant in west hollywood- I ran over there and there he was with Steve Bing, Warren Beatty and other heavy hitters! I sat at a table about 6 feet away and for the next approximately 2 hours got to watch Mick being Mick: talking , laughing eating and having a great time with friends in very mellow, low key environment. I have waited to meet Mick my whole life, but I decided not to disturb him and instead enjoyed the show. My only regret was not asking him if I should start saving $$$$ again for more concerts! I have never been that close to him without paying big bucks. I drank champagne and lusted from afar. He looked great and was enjoying himself alot. Hopefully I'll have another opportunity to actually meet him but until then....ROCK ON!

That's too bad - you got my hopes up for tomorrow.

Boaaahhhhwwww, I would be overwhelmed if I got to see Mick in a simple restaurant.
I don't know if I had the courage to ask him for an autograph, when he leaves the restaurand, though. Do you think, he then would give you one???

Hopefully he's in LA because he's working on the Scorsese film, so maybe that will be done sooner than we thought. It's nice to know he can be an ordinary human sometimes. Well, if eating with a bunch of film industry people can be normal.

Ronnie was in London last night at the opening of an exhibition of his paintings at The Gallery on Cork Street. Not sure how relevant that is to this thread, just need to know if anyone has spotted KR and CW now!

That's exactly what I just thought! Usually a press conference was held when a tour was announced at the very beginning of a new tour like let's say after a couple of years break since the last one...

Was there a conference when the US leg of 2006 was announced in July last year? As far as I remember there was just a press release...

I think Jagger needs a restraining order...this sounds creepy as all get out to me...esp. the

...and to think, this probably happens to him every single day. In that sense, I could never be famous, I would have to confront the person, and not in a pleasent way. LOL

How about the time the interviewer asked Mick if people follow him into the bathroom. Mick replies: I dunno, I never ask them what they're doing in there - then laughs. He can be pretty funny. When was that interview, anyone remember?

i dont think the person who had dinner intruded on mick at all, you're not telling me if a friend had a table in a restaurant and one of the stones or MT was in there you wouldnt join your friend... come on now! theres a world of difference between eating at the same place and charging up to the table

Not me man. I try to stay away from LA. Unless Mick is on stage or I'm at a Socal racetrack. No other reasons to go south.(california,that is).

I didn't read anything in that about "my friend had a table near mick & called me to ask me over...". It simply said "i got a call from a friend that mick was at a restaurant so like a weirdo stalker I ran down there...got a table...stared at him for 2 hours while he ate & laughed...all the while debating if i should bug him at his dinner about how much i love him & if i can blab in his ear for a spell".
