OK, while we wait for word of a Stones euoropean tour,(or not). What is the next concert that you already have tickets for? Me,I am going to see The Who in Reno on Feb.23,and the next night I have tickets to go see Bob Seger in Oakland. 2 shows in 2 nights in 2 different cities,with different bands. I don't think I have ever done that before. But I think I am up for the challenge.

I to have tickets to see The Who, only in Chicago on March 5. Enjoyed them in September so I thought Id go again.

I looked for Clapton tickets on Ebay, for the MGM...and had heart failure.

I did that last year...saw the Stones at Giants Stadium, next night saw Clapton at MSG.

I rarely buy tix in advance anymore, I have this crazy NYC thing in me, I enjoy driving myself crazy trying to find that elusive ticket the day of the show....unless it's Giants stadium and elusive is replaced by easily obtainable.

bingo__but you don't have to drive 4 hours to MSG or Giants Stadium, do you?

well I was overly confident...they are as much or more than the Stones.

Hey whitem. How many good rock shows do you get out your way?

Not a hell of a lot! I just saw Clapton, which was incredible. He played here last sat. The best I have seen him play!
But as a rule not a lot! Have seen the Stones here, Bowie, Deep Purple, Sting, The Eagles (not really a fan but what the hell)...
There are a few more modern groups that come through every once in a while, like Coldplay and Oasis...not my cuppa tea.

Willie Nelson next friday Wembley Arena ! :-)

Have you ever been in NY/NJ traffic? LOL

No 4 hour drive, but getting me to go to NJ is harder then a 4 hour drive on a tricycle going up the @#$%& himalayan mountains. ; )

OMG - the who in reno? i used to live there and we only got "has been" acts - where are they playing? UNR lawler events center? or a casino?

i personally am trying to get tickets for incubus, a favorite band, who i guess has becomes super-huge in the last few years and their $40 tickets are going for $200 on ebay. i refuse to pay it so am waiting for the day of the show for a ticket release.

other than that, i'll get last minute outside of venue low-cost tickets for rod stewart and maybe the who, again, in chicago.
