No, I'm not kiddin'
I read 16 pages about neck collars, sizes, colours, copyrights, printing, distribution, costs etc. but only a few graphical ideas have been sent.
of course all the above mentioned is neccessary - but one step after the other. design first!
by the way, I like your design. please keep workin' on it.

In true 'brainstorming' fashion, people should post any ideas they have, however random, good or bad. Mine have been of dubious quality (!) but it gets the creative juices flowing and elements of different ones may well contribute to the end product. The more, the merrier.....
i'd go for the web address in a bolder/clearer text font- but apart from that great... maybe more to bv's taste, than previous designs, as it could be used as a 'Lacoste style' logo, as he's discussed, or a large old central design.
BV wrote: want soething 100% stones-related as an image. Either silhouette all four or just some text. It should be easy to spot from stage or anywhere. Even by half blind people. Think big. Think simple. Think clean. The simpler the better. And the esier to recongnize. That is why most modern logos are very simple and clean. The T-shirt print should be equally simple. Just a message. IORR etc. Plus a clean simple smashing image.
Thanks!

My AD and I are working on a few designs, with the above as guidelines. Unfortunately (well, good for business...) we also have a few deadlines to respect. But we figured out there is actually no real hurry. If we mail our contributions to BV within a week, he can chose to do with them exactly what he wants to. And yes, it's a no charge much fun job.
However, I hope that all the talented people out there also contribute. Don't be put off by the first refusal. Most brilliant world famous authors had their first scripts turned down by not only one, but several, publishing companies...
Keep on drawing - and if you take a look at what BV wants, that's probably a good idea, too.

They'll only be published if BV thinks they're any good. Must be his decission. I like your last entry, the nice clean one, Ablett! I'd say that's my favourite of the ones I've seen so far. Especially with the "Lacoste-style" version of a t-shirt in mind. Good work!
Thanks Tralala. Don't take this the wrong way but you've been very 'vocal' in your opinion of other peoples ideas. It would be a shame if members were'nt given the opportunity to express their opinion at your work. I know from my own experience that BV has asked that entries are not submitted direct to him due to the amount of mail he receives. He asked that ideas are uploaded on the IORR thread for all to see instead.....
No problem! We'll get them to him in due time. If he wants to publish them, fine. If he doesn't want to, then they're no good. (we'll use Royal Mail, in order not to burst his mailbox for e-mails. No worries.)
