I am strongly opposed of taking any flashy colour like that shidoobee green, orange, pink or any of that kind. It just looks cheap and awful. Nothing against the shidoobees, but we can do better!

Rooster - I think that's a great idea, using "Tell Me" somehow on the shirt.

Steven is right.....please, keep it simple, just put www.IORR.org on the front......and if you want to be recognized in a Stones concert then you better start warming up to the idea of an ugly color......and on the back "Tell me you're coming back to me." (Thanks sssoul and rooster)

"tell me you're coming back to me" message is for :E

I'm still going to make a Who The F*** is Rockman tshirt, I still think that's the best. It could say that on the front and "Find out at IORR.org" on the back.

I'm also going to make one out of that great photo of Keith & Anita on the Anita thread, the picture of them on the stairs with Marianne playing a spinster.

I'm no artist and the image is an old one. White sucks but you could use any colour or even invert for black. Also, I was trying to get just a silhouette of their heads but that didn't work.

I rather enjoy a train wreck at times, and honestly expected this thread to get their eventually. We really are behaving ourselves. There have been A LOT of ideas bantered about, with no name-calling, or rudely objecting to other folks ideas (for the most part).

I'm surprised that Ablett hasn't thrown his hands up and said, "F*** it"! Pleasing the masses is never easy.

I do hope that this idea is carried out to a final product. (After a big blow up and a lengthy good-bye posting or so!)

not to rain on anyone's parade, but iron on is cheap, alright. it doesn't hold up and looks amateur-ish. if you're going to do it, you need to do it right.

Tralala, chill a bit... Ablett does a great job, there's no need to post two/three times against every compliment for the Ablett-design. Ablett has made clear that he understands the message about clearness, he has stated that he will use the computer to work it out and make it stronger and clearer. So give him that chance. A lot of people like the idea of the design, so let's not "skin the bear before you've killed him".

So far: he's the one that puts the effort in a serious attempt, the only argument against that is another design. And as we've agreed that there will be some kind of democratic voting on designes that BV has approved, OR that BV will decide himself, there is no reason to panic.

Cheers guys but BV's emailed to say it aint what he's looking for (some might find it offence, playing with the devil etc. - this is the Rolling Stones aint it?).

Anyway, lets see what Tralala's team comes up with.......

Shame cause I was quite enjoying it........ ;-)

sorry to hear that ablett...... i seriously doubt anyone is prepared to sacrifice as much time, effort and thought as you clearly did.
thanks for trying.
i'm guessing this is going to go round in circles, and not get anywhere....
which is a shame.

Yeah, you can see it coming. My objection to just simple text and an iamge of the four stones is simple..... you can already get that officially? I wanted a unique image that showed our individuality.
And this concern that it's to be seen from the Stage baffles me. How many more tours do they expect?
I thought a a page whereby all designs could be placed and everyone votes on the chosen one would have been interesting.
But then it aint ma board so hey ho!
