Christ - and I thought Spinal Tap had split up....

I love the bit where they insist on getting a channel that shows the cricket - but am I the only person a bit disturbed at the need for something called a 'recovery room' ?

"Recovery Room" is the code name for Ron Wood's dressing room.

(it's on the second page)

others:
MJ: Workout
KR: Camp X-ray
CW: cotton Club

>> 'recovery room' ? <<

don't worry, Gazza - that's Ronnie's space. a form of humour, like Camp X-Ray.
the Cotton Club is Charlie's, of course, and the Workout Room is ... well guess who. :E

So how come Keith needs more banquet tables than anyone else?! Perhaps that's also why he's the only one who needs a LARGE trash can... :-)

Wow, they don't even request a new toilet seat for every "leaving".

"THE TOUR CARRIES THERE [sic] OWN SNOOKER TABLE"...

schillid, frustrated English teacher points out:

The word they are trying to spell is their. Not only that, it ought to be: "The tour carries its own snooker table.

In '94 they apparently didn't carry their own snooker table. A gaming table dealer I know in my town was begged to deliver one to their gig in East Lansing, Michigan but couldn't be bothered to do so. They appeared, sans snooker beforehand, and still put on one of the most electrifying Stones shows I've ever seen.

94 East Lansing was awesome. Great in and out parking, awesome 7th row center seats, great setlist. I remember alot of air baloons circling overhead.

Nigel: Ian, can I have a word with you for a minute?

Ian: Yes, of course.

Nigel: ...uh, a couple of problems with the...

Ian: What?

Nigel: ...arrangments backstage...

Ian: What exactly?

Nigel: Well, uh..

Ian: What, I mean...

Nigel: Well, no, there's some problems here, I don't even know where
to start, alright? This, uh..

Ian: Soundcheck? Whats, whats, whats wrong?

Nigel: No, no, no, no this....look, look, look, there's a little problem with the... look this, this miniature bread. It's like... I've been working with this now for about half an hour. I can't figure out... let's say I want a bite, right, you've got this...

Ian: You'd like bigger bread?

Nigel: Exactly! I don't understand how...

Ian: You could fold this though.

Nigel: Well, no then it's half the size.

Ian: Not the bread, you could fold the meat.

Nigel: Yeah, but then it, then it breaks up, breaks apart like this.

Ian: No, no, no, you put it on the bread like this, you see

Nigel: But then, if you keep folding it, it keeps breaking...

Ian: Why do you keep folding it?

Nigel: And then you...everyhing has to be folded, and then it's this,
and I don't want this I want large bread so that I can put
this...

Ian: Right

Nigel: ...so then it's like this, this does not work because
then...it's all....

Ian: 'cause it hangs out like that?

Nigel: Look...

Ian: Yeah.

Nigel: Would you been holding this?

Ian: No, I don't want to eat...I wouldn't want to put that in my mouth, no you're right, Nigel, you're right...

Nigel: No, alright 'A', exhibit 'A', now we move on to this, look, look who's in here? No one! And then in here there's a little guy, look! So it's, it's a complete catastrophe.

Ian: You're right, Nigel, Nigel calm down, calm down.

Nigel: Calm d...good, no it's not a big deal, it's a joke, it's really, it's...

Ian: I'm sorry, it's just some crappy univeristy, you know

Nigel: I know, Yeah, right, it's a joke, it's all a j-

Ian: Really, I don't want it to affect your performance.

Nigel: It's not gonna affect my performance, don't worry about it, alright, just hate it, it's really...

Ian: It won't happen again.

Nigel: It does disturb me.

Ian: It's disgusting.

Nigel: But I'll rise above it, I'm a professional, right?

Ian: Alright.

Ah, the Golden Throne....if one only had the guts to go for that one.
Couldn't afford anything to put into that throne, if I bought that thing.

CPI - Concert Productions International

Good Spinal Tap dialog above. Saw Harry Shearer speak the other night and he was talking about how that movie was improved, there was no script.

All the band, but the work out room, get flowers. I wonder if weeping eucalyptus will be out of stock at every florist tomorrow.

In any case, it seems LF gets her own room, but DJ does not?

Hmm... sexism? Or is it just because she happens to be the only female around?

The Stones have some much finer drapes than these, but you can get the idea -
